Attended dinner with my young daughter the evening of August 30. I made this reservation for convenience because I knew we would be at the park that night. We had free dining and I really did not expect much after reading some reviews. Both my daughter and I enjoyed this restaurant more than any other during our 8 nights of free dining. Coral Reef had the fish. Chefs in Epcot was nice. The characters at the buffets were fun! Tony's had great service and food. My vegetarian eggplant dish was excellent. I am a vegetarian and am a bit picky. It was the best vegetarian dish I had on the trip. My daughter was treated wonderfully by the waiter. He went out of his way to make her feel special and even listened intently as she discussed her obsession....Pokemon! He was polite and made you feel welcome! You could tell he was just a good guy! We could see the Spectromagic parade from where we were sitting. We just had a great time! Thanks to waiter Casey from Rochester, NY for making it a special dinner for me and my daughter. It was a nice finish to our eight nights of dining. My daughter still talks about how nice he was! We did not always feel the Disney "magic" from the waitstaff. They are busy and a bit overworked. This gentleman's tip was already built in at 18% (due to the dining plan). He still went above and beyond. I recommend Tony's highly. It was a great dad and daughter evening!
