Tony's Menu Changes

I also just had the Fettucine Alfredo there 2 weeks ago, and it was really bad. The only good part of my meal was the bread they served in the beginning. Kind of like Olive Garden- the best part is the bread sticks.

Best location at MK. I just wish it was a big beautiful empty restaurant of seating. A PB&J sandwich would taste better while sitting in Tony's.
Delivery from any other restaurant on site would taste better than their menu...................................................

I have Tony's on my list even with all the negative reviews. The location cannot be beat and I haven't eaten here since the 80s when it was called something different, I don't remember at all but with the Lady and the Tramp theming and Tiramisu, I'd like to put it on my short list for our next trip.

I thought it was always Tony's, like Lady and the Tramp?

We had two amazing lunches at Skipper Canteen last trip. Very good food, funny servers, and it was easy to get into (second time, I made an ADR while we were in Fantasyland on the app, then we walked over and by then the reservation time was up so we were seated right away).

No, I finally googled it, it was just town square cafe back when MK first opened. Not sure when the name changed but I just knew it wasn't Tony's. I think the lady and tramp theming came later.

We are in the minority that likes Tony's. Last May my grandson really enjoyed the spaghetti. He is a picky eater, so some of the other places will not work for our family. During our last trip (May 2017), the best server for the whole trip was the one at Tony's.

Oh! First time I went there was 27 years ago or so. I recall DH and I taking photos with Lady and the Tramp, so it was Tony's then I guess. Food was "meh" then, so after 30 trips I haven't been back.

I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I've only been once and I enjoyed it. I even got the most controversial thing on the menu - spaghetti and meatballs. I'll admit I didn't go in expecting high-end Italian food like at Il Mulino, but my experience was great and I know a lot of people even say it's their favorite restaurant.

I went last summer during a last minute trip. Really enjoyed it. Dd has spaghetti and meatballs. She enjoyed it and she is very fussy about her meatballs. Prefers mine and Via Napoli’s, but they were fine. I had the Caesar salad and the vegetarian ravioli. The ravioli was recommended over the sampler platter by our server and it was delicious. Salad was fresh and tasty. Good tiramisu. Again, mine is better, but it was a nice breakfast the next morning. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. The menu changes look fine.

We've been a few times and never had a bad experience. I've gotten the steak once and the season fish another time. DW had shrimp dishes both times and liked them. Calamari and salads for apps both times. So no red sauce for us (which is where a lot of vitriol comes from). My kids did get spaghetti and meatballs both times and loved it but for reference, they also think spaghettio's are an excellent pasta dish so we can't go by them.

Dang we are going to be there Thursday and they took off the Pistachio Brulee and the zucchini fries!! I was so looking forward to getting these!! On top of that it looks as if they took the shrimp scampi of the menu as well. So disappointing!! All three of these things was the only reason I was going there!!

Looking even further and they also took off the flatbread which is what my kids wanted. Tony's has such a bad reputation but we really enjoyed these entrees. I see many other people loved the Scampi as well. Why would they take something that so many people like off the menu especially with as many complaints there are about this Restaurant?

We actually really like Tony's, but how could they take away the zucchini fries!!!!!!! Those were our favorite!!!!!!!!!!!

We went in December and I enjoyed my shrimp scampi just fine... couldn't find it on the new menu but I just glanced through

We've always liked Tony's. Not the best on our list of Disney restaurants but a good experience every time. I've often ignored reviews as I find we have different tastes than many. Places with frequent high reviews I find bland and boring such as LLT, Rose & Crown, Raglan Road etc. Overall, I wouldn't rate any Disney restaurant high than an 8 out of 10. Decent food but not great but the theming and experience is why I love them. Cant get that anywhere but Disney. Love Lady and the Tramp!!

With such an amazing location, you can only hope that whatever change they make in the menu is for the better. If they simply change the red sauce into something edible, that would be a HUGE improvement. There is so much potential there, but they have missed it. Hopefully they get it right this time.

That's how I feel about 90% of the Disney restaurants and I've eaten in most of them. When the kids were little we did character meals, now I look for the experience, convenience and extras like the reserved parade viewing at Tony's. Other than the dessert I wasn't a fan of Liberty Tree either. It was the worst salad of the trip, that baby was geriatric.
