I also think that they both will be better off in the long run. I would imagine both will do better if they end up dating people who can let each of them be the headliner and are out of the news. This would help Tony focus on football and not have to deal with extra questions from the press and it would Jessica be less inclined to brag about her new boyfriend who the media would be less interested in b/c he would not be a celebrity. Well see though as both seem to be attracted to celebrity types.

I think Nick wants to have a relationship with an adult, not one he where he has to be a surrogate father to his partner.

When you look at who people go out with after they break up with someone, I think it clues you in to what kind of relationship they were in before.

While Vanessa was just as girlie, I think she is an adult, and probably was much calmer for Nick to be with instead of the drama he went through.

I think Jennifer Aniston is also as emotionally high maintenance as Jessica. I don't know why people are so ga-ga over her. Sure, it's cute to be high maintenance and neurotic for half an hour on a sitcom, but I can imagine the men she went out with all said, "Oh man, is this really worth it?" when they go though that all day, on a daily basis.

Jon, from Kate & Jon Plus 8, was just seen with 22 year old, who probably isn't all critical and dominating as his soon-to-be-ex-wife was with him. He gets to be the alpha person finally in a relationship.


The kind of person who dumps someone the day before her birthday is probably the kind of guy who realised he just doesn't want to go through the pretense the next day with a bunch of people that everything is all right. He should have broken up with her weeks before though, not the day before.

I hadn't heard that either. For what it's worth, I don't dislike Jessica. She seemed to be nice, not a diva or anything. Now Romo is another story. I am no Cowboys fan and I think he's overrated.
Her father gives me the creeps though. But that's not Jessica's or Ashlee's fault. And for the PP who made the remark about having too much time on their hands, I am guilty too. I like Hollywood gossip. There are worse hobbies to have.

I agree Romo is overrated. I know a few Cowboys fans who don't like him at all. I bet Romo probably got tired of Joe Simpson. Joe once talked about Jessica's breasts to the public one time and I think that's when people creeped out by him. I remember when Jessica and Tony started dating Chelsea Handler on Chelsea Lately made the joke that Jessica broke up with her dad to date Tony.

I always thought they were a really cute couple. But I also think her Dad is way to involved in her life. If I were a guy, I probably wouldn't like that, about the woman I was dating.
