Tonight's "The Weather Channel" movie is..

Never heard of it before (not a big movie buff).. Anyone know what it's about?

Shark lab out in the sea. Sharks are smarter then the average bear. I do believe there is a storm in there somewhere.

Sounds about right, it's an ok movie, nothing great. The sharks are cool tho...genetically enhanced and super smart...

"A group of research scientists, working in an abandoned off-shore submarine facility, appear to have discovered a neuro-stimulant, extracted from the brains of sharks, that cures Alzheimer's disease. However, unknown to the rest of the researchers the project leaders Dr. Susan McAlester and Jim Whitlock have illegally used proscribed gene manipulation techniques to enhance the brain size of the sharks to attain their spectacular results. During a severe storm, whilst the researchers are celebrating their success, the newly intelligent sharks attack their captors in a bid to escape. As a result of the storm and the sharks attack strategy, the research facility suffers a catastrophic structural integrity failure and begins to submerge. The situation becomes a deadly race against time as the survivors, led by shark wrangler Carter Blake and Preacher, try to reach the surface and safety as the deadly intelligent killer-sharks continue to flood the facility and hunt their prey."

Never seen it, but sounds pretty weird.

It's an entertaining movie. Thomas Jane from Hung is on it. LL Cool J has some funny moments. And of course Samuel L. Jackson.

Ummm.. "Meriweather", you obviously have "weather issues".. Did something happen in your childhood - or perhaps a previous life?

LOL.....not just weather....I love "bad" diaster/sci fi movies.
My DD used to make it an annual thing for birthdays and Christmas to find those movies for me.
I do have quite a collection.
I will have to keep up on what the Weather Channel is showing every Friday, I might need to add more to my collection
