hi, I thought I heard that Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station is closed is that true? I always wanted to try it, and plan on doing so in Nov.

It was closed two weeks ago. It looked like all the signage was down, too. It was a great concept, and nice to see a different kind of food offering in the MK.

It is open seasonally as some trip it has never been open and others it has been open the entire trip. I personally like it and eat there when ever I can. But others do not like it as much as I do. It is apparently open seasonally as during dec 06 it was never open for ur trip but just a few weeks later during the first week of Jan 07 it was open every day. Any way I am a fan and I think it is good as counter service at WDW goes. I should start a fan club but I might be the only member

I hope they don't close it all together. It was one place I knew that I could get DD5 food that she would eat when all else failed. When she gets hot, tired and cranky, all she wants are the comfort foods from when she was little and since she is adopted from China, that means rice and noodles.

You aint missing much! I have eaten there once in Oct 05 and it was so bad we had to throw it out...just terrible food.

Since then we have been to WDW about a dozen times and have never seen it open...except for MVVCP where they hand out cookies and cocoa.

I tried this place twice in July not that good as far as noodle shops go If you are used to eating at good noodle shops you will be dissappointed

well, there isn't a restaurant in the Magic Kingdom that I would say were a "Good" version of whatever they are, KWIM? LOL

We do really like the TTNS, because it's so nice to have something--anything--"different" and approximating healthy food while in the park. We would eat there for lunch every day if it were open (as we have on previous trips). Last trip it was only open for dinner, and we were never in the MK at that time since we eat at the signature restaurants each night, so no TTNS for us that week.

No, it's not "great", but it's a whole lot better (for our tastebuds and our bodies) than burgers and fries. Hopefully next trip it will be open, we sure missed it. (and yeah, they could improve it, but they could improve every restaurant in the MK! LOL)

During our July trip it was open, which surprised me because I had read it was closed.
We all enjoyed it!

When it first opened, it was really good. Then they changed the menu and apparently began using different ingredients.

Never went back after that, mostly because on my last visit, the service was worse than the new food.

I am laughing, I ate there right after it opened and I thought the food was HORRIBLE. Very greasy and bland. So bad that it made my stomach hurt and I never wanted to go back.

In my 10 or so trips to Disney, it has never been open. We always go for spring break too. I didn't even think it was still open.

We enjoy it there when they are open.

They were open on one of our two MK days in July. We ate here in 2004 and HATED it so much that we tossed our food and went to Cosmic Ray's.

I was there 2 weeks ago, and the schedule said it was only open for dinner on Sundays, I believe. I wasn't there on Sunday, so I can't verify this, but I assumed it might be the same noodle buffet they had previously for the free dining crowd.

I was under the impression (didn't see it myself) that the "buffet" that was in that location during Free Dining last year was not at all affiliated with the Noodle Station--meaning, the food wasn't at all from the same menu or type. I thought the buffet was american food like pasta, etc.

You're correct. Last year the buffet was of the generic variety, not Asian themed at all. We ate at the Noodle station right after it opened, DD was so excited, she loves Asian food. It was, without a doubt, our worst CS meal ever at a WDW theme park. We threw it out and ate popcorn.

I have been to the MK at least 10 times this year and never seen this place open, nor have I ever eaten there. I wish they would turn it into the old pizza and burger place it was before. I used to love the deep dish pizza they served there....

The entrance is across from Stitchs Great Escape if that helps you. You can look at the castle while eating.

We ate there twice this past July and while it isn't haute cuisine, it is a very nice change from burgers/nuggets and fries! Much better than Pecos Bill's, now that is a meal we tossed and ate crackers from our bag instead :scared:

Besides, it's a lovely view of the castle. We ate one night at sunset and it was just beautiful :cloud9:
