We did it a couple of years ago and thought it was great. The desserts they put out were amazing! :)

as to the vantage point for fireworks...where do actually get to view it from...I am afriad my 3 year old make freak out and we have to leave ...not sure he has been acclimated to fireworks...he does know they are dangerous and tells me all the time..lol

and where is that exactly? maybe on top of the restaurant where the peoplemover ride and rockets ship are?

Are you asking where the restaurant is? It's right in between the Plaza restaurant and Tomorrowland.

Yes! we did it for the first time in December and it will become a keeper for every trip. The dessert selection is absolutely delightful from all over the World with everything from rice krispie treats to creme brulee with coffees, teas, and milks as beverages plus an ice cream station:goodvibesThe seating is wonderful for both the light parade and the fireworks show (plus Tink who waves at us as she flies down):wave2:You are free to stand at the railing once the fireworks start. and we stayed about 30 minutes after the finale just talking and finishing up coffee. The CMs will clean around you and chat up a bit. We always learn new things in talking to them. Lesson Learned for us was to make a very light supper ADR prior to the Party because you need some room for the goodies:yay:

Does anyone know when reservations "open" for a certain month? 90days? 60 days? Thinking about trying to book it for our November trip, but CM this morning said its not released yet for those days.

Generally about 60 Days before the event is when you can book...check the 2nd thread in my signature for more information :thumbsup2

Just went on the 4th and they opened up @9pm I would be there @9pm there was a small line. And the desserts were amazing! My DS said his "wish" came true...dessert for dinner!!! It was great we saw tinkerbell fly over, and watched the Memories & you show, and the fireworks!

We did this two years ago in January and the fireworks were cancelled due to lightning and rain :sad2:

The desserts were great however but I do not think we would do it again.

Ok, one last question. Are you able to see the parade from the dessert party location? I'm reading conflicting reports on this topic. Anyone who has been there know? Thanks in advance for the info. It will be the deciding factor on if we try to book this or not.

In my opinion, no. It depends on how you define see. You can look out from the wall and see there is a parade happening, but you can only see the top 1/2 of the floats and not really the street performers at all. I don't consider that a worthy viewing of the parade.

Some people have reported leaving to see it, then returning, but that would be too crowded and too much hassle for me. We watch the parade from Frontierland most of the time anyway.
