We've booked this for June and I've done my best to read previous threads but I still have some questions I'm not clear about.

- Is there assigned seating for this?
- If your table does not have a good view of the fireworks can you move closer by standing along the rail area?
- Are beverages also served?
- Is there anything special I should be aware of or prepared for to make the event go by smoother?

Thanks for the help.

yes................yes.........................yes.........................no

Thanks, Dalton. Do you have a clue how they determine the seating? Is it based off first arrival, first person who made reservation, they throw darts ...

last year i made our ADR as soon as the window opened for our date and our table was in the first row from the railing...............they have coffee and milk and juice............they will tell you that you can stand by the rail but no moving of tables to be closer...........its a lot of money for some cake pie cookies and such but we enjoyed it so much that we are going again on june 17th..........have fun.

I booked the party fairly late for my last trip (there were only 9:20pm seatings left) and I was still in the first row by the railings. There was a HUGE group there that night though, and I assume they probably tried to seat them together which may have resulted in some smaller parties getting pushed towards the railing. I will say whatever time you book, get there early. They were bypassing the big group through part of the line (their names were on a separate list or something) and it seemed to take forever to get in behind them.

My husband and I went to this last October and thoroughly enjoyed it. The desserts were very good and it was so nice to have a seat and something to do while waiting for the fireworks. I wanted to see the Electric Main St. Parade, so we got our wristbands, went to watch the parade and then returned. Not sure how this could be done for those wanting a front view for the parade. We are going again in a couple weeks and will have a child that may make it a little more complicated.

We did this last night and although they may tell you that you're guaranteed a spot at the railing and a view of the fireworks, in reality, you may very well end up under the roof and maybe only able to see 1/2 the fireworks. Your reward for mentioning this to the manager will be a dumb look and a sheepish sorry.

I wouldn't do this again.

there are only XXX tables so they seat you based on your party size. Everyone has a good view and you can stand up if you want.

I did this in January, you are assigned a table to eat at, but once the fireworks started no one stayed at their seats. Everyone stands at the railing to view. They told us this as we entered. Then we went and had more from the buffet after the fireworks were done as they were cleaning up.

Waiting to reserve this again for our August trip.

We want to try this on our trip in November, but it looks like you can't book this 180 days in advance like other dining events and restaurants.

Anyone know approximately when November dates will be offered?

Does anyone know how far out you can currently book?

I have done this twice in the past and enjoyed it. So I wanted to book it in August for my trip with my niece.

Bookings are running *about* 90 days out but it's not exact; they seem to open it up for a month at a time. It sometimes shows up on the schedule earlier than that but just to show you which dates it will be offered, not for booking (useful because you do NOT want to book a dinner ADR for the same night. Have a big mid-afternoon lunch instead).

Yes, tables are pre-assigned, usually based on the order in which the ADRs are made but obviously there are some exceptions due to group sizes. We found that there was more railing than guests, so to speak, so even when people stood up it was not a problem and many attendees (including myself) stayed seated.

Beverages included hot and cold tea, hot coffee, milk, and lemonade. Soda pop is NOT an option at this event.

Special things to know: there is generally a photopass photographer inside the party area before the fireworks start, so you can get a nice family castle shot without people right in front or right in back of you. And have your own camera out and primed to go the instant Wishes starts because Tink flies from the castle to right over your head, basically landing on the Tomorrowland Terrace roof.

I stumbled across this thread... and I so want to book this! I'm going in September with my mom who will be celebrating her 60th birthday! I think this would be an awesome surprise for my mom!

Where do you find the "schedule" for this? Is it on Disney's website? I understand September dates probably aren't released yet... but where do I go to see the dates available? What site?

TIA!

Found it! Thanks, Tinker'nFun! :goodvibes

We were told seating was based on how many in your party and how soon you book. That was what we were told. You will enjoy it! We think this was the best event we did the whole time!
