Okay so we are pretty sure we are going May 2015, my youngest is only 47 1/2 inches and my oldest is on 50 1/2 inches. I highly doubt my oldest will grow 3 1/2 inches by may. So here is my question. How will we be able to ride this since my oldest can not ride by her self. It's only myself and my 2 girls since I am a single mom. Can I get one of the CM's to maybe ride with my oldest? PLease help!

You can definitely ride with both of them :) We do it all the time! Just ask for a "driver-switch" when you first get in and you will get to ride it twice so each child will get to drive ;)

Thank you, but questions isnt that when you have two adults? Because I would need one Adult to stand with one child and then switch.

Depending on your body type and the size of your kids, all three of you may be able to ride together...

I went once when I could not ride.

Both eligible kids rode with dad. One kid drove. When they returned, CM had kids switch so that second child could drive.

Not sure this is the norm or not. But it was a pleasant surprise.

What a great thing to learn today! I have three under the magic height with only two adults. I was just planning to wait in line twice.

We also went with 2 adults and 3 kids and had no problem fitting everyone in two cars, with one adult and the two smallest children in one car and the other adult with the oldest child in the second car.

It sounds like OP is concerned about leaving one child alone while she goes on the ride with the other child. Does the child waiting for the rider switch wait on the platform or do they have to wait outside the line somewhere?

Yes my worries exactly, but it sounds like you can fit 3 on the ride?? :confused3

Now I am worried about what other rides we will have trouble on. :( Last year I took my little sister who was 10 at the time. So she was tall enough to ride everything so it was mostly my oldest and her rode together and then myself and my youngest rode together. Now with her not going I am worried. Any advice!!!! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Oh okay so both kids rode at the same time with the one parent, then switched at driving....I understand now! :) Thanks!!

I'm also a single mom with 2 kids. Mine are older now, but once upon a time they were little. There are quite a few rides where you can fit 3 if you are relatively small. I'm not super skinny, but I fit with my boys when they were little.

On rides where you can't all fit together, you have to make some choices. You didn't say how old your children are. Most of the time I opted to let me boys ride together, and I would ride just behind them. This depends on the ride of course. You could also let your oldest ride alone, with you and the youngest behind. Only you know your kids and what you think they can handle.

There may be some that you have to skip until they are older. For example, Toy Story. You can only seat 2 people in each side of the car. So you would be completely separated from one or both of your kids, the seats backs are really high, you can't see anybody behind you. You may have to skip that one until they are older.

Your best bet may to be took online and get an idea of what rides you think you will want to do. Then go to you tube and check them out. You will be able to see how the cars are set up, and if you think it will work for your family.

how old are your kids that you don't think they can grow three inches in a calendar year?

start hanging them from their ankles today :)

I have seen three in a seat at Toy Story. Now granted there are only two "guns" but three can fit. I saw the mom in the middle with her two kiddos on each side of her controlling the "guns". :)

They'll let all 3 of you ride together if you all fit safely in the car. We've done it many times.

My kids are 8 and 6 they will be 7 and almost 9 when we go :)

Okay, at that age you can probably let them ride together with you behind them when there are times where you can't all fit.

It seems I may have been wrong about Toy Story. I didn't think you could ride three across because of the lap bars. At any rate, they are probably old enough for you to sit on the other side of the car. They aren't so little that you have to worry about them not sitting or anything like that.

On our last trip my boys were 16 and 12. We still rode 3 to a car in Haunted Mansion. I seem to remember us doing 3 to a seat on Splash, but I can't remember if that was before or after the lap bars. Now they ride in one seat, I ride behind them.

Your kids sound old enough that it probably won't be a huge issue on most rides. If they were like 4 and 6 or something it would be more of a problem. Hopefully the three of you will fit together on the Speedway. Plus, in 9 months you never know how much a little one may grow.
