NOW, you are talking my language!! Just takes a little creativity. Actually I had been thinking about cooking a turkey the weekend before we leave and packing it in a cooler.

But then I thought, do we HAVE to do tradition every year?? Really, I don't want to deal with cooking a turkey.

Oh, oh, I forgot. If gas prices aren't below $3 before we leave, we will not be taking the "truck", we will be taking the not-very-spacious-jeep liberty! Kids will be tied to the top, along with husband!!

I need my space.

This is kind of a good thing though, when I drive, I drive .

I have to get new shocks and a tuneup first.

Gas prices always go up around the Holidays, it's another conspiracy put out there by "the man" those are the words of my DH. Gas has gone up here and will probably stay up till after New Years, so all I can say is make sure the boys have nice warm coats, wind and rain resistant!! And even though they are on their way to disney, tell them to hold off smiling until they get there other wise they will be picking bugs out of their teeth until summer time.

I went to Michaels this weekend to get some craft stuff. They had tubes of glow bracelets, 15 for $1. I was thinking the boys could pass them out while we were watching the fireworks to all the little kids around us.

Think we'd get in trouble??

Of course Sport says, "Mom, lets sell them"!

I try to make them do stuff like this so they can know how good it feels to make someone happy, put a smile on their face.

So, whatcha think??

Fred said he didn't care how much gas was, we are taking the truck. We went to the store last night in my jeep and he started ummmm....complaining about how small it was (it's perfect for me). So I mentioned the fact we would be in it for 18 hours, get used to it. That's when he said we were taking the truck.

Why is it that men say women can't ever make up their minds????

I am taking a half vacation day this Friday to go get all our stuff for the trip. Kids in school, Fred at work, SHOPPING BAYBEE!! We really don't need much, just toiletries and ponchos.

I think.

We don't really get into wearing the Characters. So, won't be needing any of that.

I went to Michaels this weekend to get some craft stuff. They had tubes of glow bracelets, 15 for $1. I was thinking the boys could pass them out while we were watching the fireworks to all the little kids around us.

Think we'd get in trouble??

I try to make them do stuff like this so they can know how good it feels to make someone happy, put a smile on their face.

No, I don't think you would get in trouble for passing out glow sticks. I have heard of people saying that they do that in WDW, I just never have done it.

Don't you know by now that men love huge vehicles? Me, I go for fuel efficiency, DH likes room which equals gas guzzler. I will have to agree with Fred though, 18 hours is a long time together, while your kids are older than mine, they are bigger too, they need a little space. Spend the extra money on gas for comfort.

By the way, no Bambi yet. He is out hunting now. He did see 3 does one day and they were so close, but he had his bow and he could not get a clear shot and was a afraid of wombing her, so he just watched her and she had no idea that he was there.

Is he waiting for a buck?? I'm not going to make it out this year with my bow. I will be out all next weekend with my gun. We start the 15th. I can't take the day off because all my time is reserved for Disney. So I'll have to do it over the weekend. Actually, I don't even care if I hunt this year, but I have to sit with Sport. Fred hasn't went very much yet. He just HAS to get one before we leave, I will hear about it the whole time we are gone if he doesn't.

Oh, and if it snows enough to plow. Cause he will lose money and it will be all my fault for dragging him away to the Happiest place on earth.

WOW, sounds like I have resentment toward Fred today doesn't it???

I hope so. I think I might even get some more, just a couple. I can imagine it, the boys have passed them all out and a little girl, say about 4, with big huge blue eyes and a red ribbon in her hair (for Christmas) comes up and says, "miss, can I have one too?"

I'll just keep some in my bag for "just in case"

I'll tell him. Seriously, you could live in this truck. I can't believe it doesn't have a small frig and microwave in the back seat. I just like the comfort of my jeep. It handles like a dream on the highway, in and out of traffic, it loves to pass cars, it rocks!!

I liked the idea of him on the roof!! I really hadn't mentioned it to him, thought I'd surprise him when we took off. Maybe put some suitcases in his spot??

He is a baby. When we went to Disney on our honeymoon he was sick, had a cold sinus thing going on. Wasn't a whole lot of fun if you know what I mean!

Last night he starts this cough, cough, clear throat, cough thing!! I freaked out on him.

I said you better get some good blankety medicine right now, cause if you are sick when we leave, your stayin home!!

Although I do like Sports idea, it wouldn't go over too well in WDW. Plus isn't GIVING things away part of the magic?? We brought our own glow sticks too and it was fun to have them on during fantasmic and feel like a kid again! I'll definitely be bringing them with us again!
