Hello all! Does anyone have any comments on the tomorrow land dessert party? Is it worth it? Is there a separate charge if you are already in the MK? TIA

We went last January. We paid in advance but I can't recall how much. For us it was more for convenience of not worrying about where to stand with the kids. I had some coffee and some desserts, but probably not my money's worth. If you search the web there are a lot of pictures people post. Only a limited amount of reservations are taken and seating is assigned. So we came as close to Wishes as possible. Still plenty of desserts. Everyone stands at the wall, but there's enough room for everyone. The view is a little off to the side, but still good. There was also a PhotoPass opportunity up there with the lit up castle in the back. We took ours at the end so I had one kid crying and one wound up from sugar. Interesting picture.

It was totally worth it for us to watch Wishes in comfort! I want to say that we paid around $30 for each adult and around $15 for my DS9. Those prices are just guesses from my poor memory. lol. The desserts were just okay. But not being crushed to death during Wishes, and my DS being able to see without some tall guy holding his kid on his shoulders in front of him, was worth it enough for me to book it again for our trip in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the reply. We are going in July! Any recommendations on what time to try to get?

I really enjoyed the dessert party! The desserts are not super high end, but I thought they were tasty. I also liked that they had a variety of beverage options (coffee, tea, lemonade, and milk) - milk went really well with those desserts! As the other posters have mentioned, we ended up standing up at the railing even through we had front tables for the party. In addition to the desserts, it's great to only have to work around 150 or so people instead of thousands!

As for the time, it actually doesn't matter much at all. They "assign" different entry times in order to space out the crowd, but one they start letting people in they don't seem to pay attention to your assigned time. Go ahead and jump into the entrance line whenever you like (I believe we were there 20 minutes before the party started?) as some of the dessert items seem to run out. There are plenty of options, however, and you won't leave hungry!

I would get your ADR as close to the 180 day mark as you can. Tables are assigned in the order of ADRs, so the earlier you make your ADR the closer you will be to the front. The CM's will guide you to your table once you're let in for the party.

The previous poster is correct, the time does not matter, just book early on the morning of your 180 day mark to get a table near the front. We enjoyed watching/listening to MSEP from our table while eating our desserts, and when Wishes started we moved to the railing for a great view!
