I heard there are hidden paintbrishes on Tom Sawyer Island and that if you find one you can turn it in for prizes such as fromt of the line passes. Is this true? Does it still happen? Were "big kids" down for college break, would be shunned away from doing this?

Less than a day!!!

We found a paint brush in August! We were given a fastpass to BTMRR.

My dd and I found 1. You have to be there when they open the island and be on the first boat over to have the best chance of getting one. They hide them under chairs, behind things, by trash cans, etc. She found one in the fort toward the back of the island. Yes, they gave us a certificate for fast passes to either splash or big thunder. This was a very cool thing to do !!!

my boys found 1 in sept. actually the lady told them where it was. They were in the fort at the back. We used our fast pass for the water ride after we got done with our staked out place for the parade.

When does the island open? - Are there lines waiting?

It opens at 10. When we went last week, we got there about 9:50 & walked up to the rope the same time as another family. There were a total of 7 families on the first raft over. When we took the raft back, 3 of those families went back with us - each with a paintbrush. :flower:
