Weren't Tom and Kate going to do the silent birth??? I wonder how that went. Nothing was silent during the birth of my two .

I saw him on 20/20 or Primetime (can't remember which one) and he explained the whole silent birth thing. He said she doesn't have to be silent during the birth, just the people in the room at time. He also said she will get any drugs she wants, if she wants an epidural, she'll get one. I'm sure we'll hear all the details in the coming days.

I went natural...no drugs at all with all 3 of mine and I was pretty quiet...no screams or anything...a few little groans but nothing else. I just was quiet, no reason why, just didn't feel like making any noises.

Uncanny ..... I could have written that! I had 3 exactly the same way! We did talk quietly among ourselves, make a few jokes etc. in between contractions, some low noises during the worst contractions, but not too much noise overall. A quiet, natural birth is actually pretty normal for me. But silent would just be weird! Who wants complete silence?!

Is TOM the natural biological father of Katie's baby? I thought I heard and read that Tom was infertile! I thought Mimi Rogers stated that and hence the adoption of Tom's kids with Nicole Kidman.....???

Cruise told Diane Sawyer that he can't remember the last time he had a cold and that his sinus problems have vanished since he's achieved this high Scientology position ... maybe his fertility has returned as well!?

ya know - I know they are in the limelight but its a shame that something as wonderful as childbirth is reduced to this...who knows what they did in the delivery room (who cares!) and I don't think we should be privy to it....I wouldn't want anyone but DH and I in ours!

No, but when Brooke talked publicly about her post-partum depression and revealed that she had taken medication to help cope with it, Tom criticised her on TV and it led to a public confrontation about medical intervention on The Today Show and other places. So the joke is that Katie will have PPD and she and Brooke having their babies on the same day makes it funnier....

I guess you had to be there....
