Being 3 hours away from Syracuse, I have to laugh at this!!! I completely agree w/you!!!!! Although, wouldn't she be Suri Mapother as that's Tom's real last name!?!? Or, did he legalize Cruise as his last name!?

I am so dreading listening to the local morning show b/c they'll be talking about this non-stop! Also, I will not be watching those stupid entertainment shows (Hollywood Insider, Entertainment Tonight, etc.) b/c they'll be so overkill w/TomKat's baby. Gag!!!!!

I wonder if being so high up in Scientology brought back his fertility!?!? After all, he's a Thetan ... which means he has completed a billion Scientology classes. When asked when his last cold was, he told Diane Sawyer that he couldn't remember. He said that since taking these Scientology courses, his sinus problems have vanished. Therefore, maybe Scientology has restored his fertility!?!?

We have CBS on (it's almost midnight) and their post-local 11 o'clock news program has something on about TomKat's baby and her new name, saying the trend for unusual names is totally in. So, it's not even midnight and the news programs have something on about it. I'm sure the Today show will be replaying the Tom Cruise post-partum depression/Brooke Shields slamfest on the show in the morning!

I wonder how many kids will be named Suri over the next few months!

ya know - I know they are in the limelight but its a shame that something as wonderful as childbirth is reduced to this...who knows what they did in the delivery room (who cares!) and I don't think we should be privy to it....I wouldn't want anyone but DH and I in ours!

As far as Im concerned - you advertise your (IMO) *strange* child birthing methods, as well as (IMO) *strange* religious beliefs - youre fair game.

Uncanny ..... I could have written that! I had 3 exactly the same way! We did talk quietly among ourselves, make a few jokes etc. in between contractions, some low noises during the worst contractions, but not too much noise overall. A quiet, natural birth is actually pretty normal for me. But silent would just be weird! Who wants complete silence?!

Add me to that list, 3 kids no drugs and no noise. Im just not a screamer and when in pain I do not want to talk. I did not want anyone there but my dh either and thats how it was. Very nice.

No, but when Brooke talked publicly about her post-partum depression and revealed that she had taken medication to help cope with it, Tom criticised her on TV and it led to a public confrontation about medical intervention on The Today Show and other places. So the joke is that Katie will have PPD and she and Brooke having their babies on the same day makes it funnier....
