Anyone who has driven from Orlando International Airport to WDW:

Can you tell me how much the toll roads cost? I want to have the exact change with me in May so I can breeze past them without having to get change. Thanks! Ely

It's been awhile since I drove it, but I think there are three different toll booths. The tolls range from 50 cents to $1.00 or $1.50. If you have $3.00 in quarters, you'll be fine. Just so you know, they have several toll booths at each toll plaza where the attendants will give change.

We always take the toll roads, and pardon my blurry memory, but I don't think that there are any 'exact change' toll booths. There is the 'fast pass' or whatever FL call is, and there are attendants, but I used to bring a roll of quarters and it never helped. Confirmation / correction, anyone?

Oh, and last December it was 2 tolls of $2.00 each from MCO to SSR.

I drove the toll roads in January and there was one exact change toll booth. Just make sure you have a few dollars in quarters and you will be fine.

if you take 417 (exit airport unto 417 opr take 528 east and then immediaty upon getting on 528 eats you will exit about 1/2 mile dwon to the right onto 417(which i highly suggest you do no traffic easy drive..)it will take 2 tolls that are $1.00 each no exact change then when you get off at disney depending on if you take exit 3 or 6 there will be a 50 cent exact change ONLY booth as you exit. if you take 528 to I4 (not suggested do to traffic, traffic and more traffic)it will cost you $2.00 plus the 50 cents at the exit.. (it use to be 75cents on 528 but i am pretty sure last time i went it was 1.00 even)

I travel 417 all the time out of MCO. But I can't remember how much the tolls are.

Utterly confusing.

>>> immediaty upon getting on 528 east you will exit about 1/2 mile dwon to the right onto 417 [clockwise]
Roundabout route. Around the horn, you could say. The south airport exit is a lot quicker drive to 417.

>>> if you take 528 to I4 it will cost you $2.00 plus the 50 cents at the exit
No it costs much less

If you get into Orlando mid day or late evening, 528 (Beach Line fka Bee Line) to I-4 works quite well.

(copied from another post)

Take north airport exit and go left at first light. Curve to left, just over a mile is next light and you take two quick lefts to get onto 528 west. One 75 cent toll. At end of 528 take I-4 west right to Disney. You can use the Epcot exit off of I-4 for Magic Kingdom also.

Returning to airport via I-4 east to 528, get off 528 at its exit 9 (Tradeport). Left and cross under. ***. Get into middle lane, required right onto McCoy, just over a mile is next light which is Semoran Blvd and airport entrance.

*** Nice cheap gas station right there. Leaving gas station be sure to face away from 528 when getting back into middle lane.

What should someone do if they reach an exact change booth and don't have exact change? I was in Orlando last month and tried to get on 417 by Celebration, but didn't have exact change. Luckily there were no other cars around so I just backed away from the toll boot and off the on-ramp and went to get change.

.

Yes.... well I said take the 417 exit from the airport.. BUT you would not believe how many people I know who live here end up exiting out the wrong exit and if you do I wanted them to know it was no big deal you can still hit 417 .....and I have traveled in traffic, not in traffic, all times of day and 417 is a much easier route to take less traffic, less lanes and other people switching, less peeople gettign on and off etc....
AND i just drove 528 2 weeks ago and there are 2 toll boths after the airport they use to be 75 cents but I think they changed them to 1.00 so be prepared. just in case...
