Is this table service? And where is it? Did it replace a previous restaurant? It is new right?
Yes, everything is table service for both Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining.
It's on the right side of the Japan pavilion, at the top of the large set of stairs. Before the renovation, the restaurant with the teppan cooking tables was called Teppanyaki, and some just called it the Mitsukoshi restaurant to match the name of the department store on the first level.
There used to be a first come, first served, and very tiny tempura place called Tempura Kiko. The Matsu No Ma Lounge was next to it, and I've gone there to enjoy a sushi roll and relax. But now, they knocked down walls between Tempura Kiko and Matsu No Ma Lounge, and re-decorated it. There's an open kitchen in the back area, and it's a nice improvement.
Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining share common space. You enter on the Tokyo Dining side on the right, and there's a large waiting area on the left for the Teppan Edo dining rooms on the very far left.
The counter service place, Yakitori House, is still where it used to be on the left side of the pavlion.
