A very dull question! But those of you who have been with toddlers, what kind of shoes do you out them in for a day around the parks?

My dd wears sandals, I make her wear socks underneath so that if her feet get hot they dont rub and make give her sore blisters. Trainers are always a safe bet, they are not as good for cool feet but they are nice for a variation.

When we took dd who was 3 at the time we put her in trainers+socks-she never complained once of sore feet+never had blisters.I think sandals, would be cooler but the thin sole you get on them would'nt help much with all that walking.
Crocs don't work for either of my girls, they ended up with blisters. We all wear trainers.x.

Last year DD was nearly 3 and wore either Start-rite sandals (very supportive and chunky soles), canvas sneakers or crocs. She was fine with all of them - no blisters etc.

Planning on Crocs for our DS Verity. He has been in them for the last couple of months and loves them. Has no trouble when walking around the zoo etc.. :)

My 2 wore either crocs or Geox trainers, the ones with the breathable soles. I took sandals with us too, but they were never worn.

Hiya,

Our two wore either Clarks Doodles (canvas pumps) with socks or Crocs with no socks. They were fine with both :thumbsup2

Another vote for Doodles as toddlers :thumbsup2 , they both wear croc's now and we've never had a problem and they both live in them ;) , we've certainly had our money's worth :thumbsup2

My two wore Croc's or Sandals (with the sandals they wore socks on the first day they wore them to make sure they didn't rub too much) but we didn't have any blisters

Crocs for the whole 3 weeks, perfect and fantastic.
Our 3 year old could get drenched, etc they was easy to dry out and clean.
My other DD lived in Crocs in the day,and trainers in the evening.
I lived in my crocs most of the hols :thumbsup2
So a massive vote for crocs from us.:thumbsup2

Shelby wore various trainers, or doodles. They worked well for her, I had planed on getting her some crocs while we were away but I couldn't get any in her size. She does have Crocs now but usually she has to wear a pair of socks with them if she is wearing them for a long period of time as they tend to rub her feet on the arches and she gets s "bister" as she calls it!

I've seen a lot of toddlers wearing Crocs but would imagine Doodles might be more comfortable :)

Then again, my friend's 3 year old walks miles in his Crocs.........:goodvibes

Geox or K-Swiss trainers.
Usually one's that Joshua has worn a few times.
It's no place for trying out a new pair, you want them comfortable after all - not tatty mind, we have 'standards' to adhere to. ;)

I would go for trainers and socks too. Although my DD is 14 she uses a wheel chair as her walking is very limited and I have always found trainers give her feet much more support and a well bedded in pair is usually comfortable and means no problems with blisters. I think its bad enough having blisters yourself without seeing your child with them.
