Hi
We are making our first trip to Disney on Tuesday and was wondering if there are rides that I can take my 18 month old son on, for example rides where he can sit between my husband and me or we can hold him??? Thanks so much
Denise

Lots of rides! You'll be spending lots of time at MK and Fantasyland!!

Let's see:

At MK:
It's a Small World
Peter Pan
Dumbo
Carousel
Pooh
Buzz
Alladin Carpets
Snow White (it can be scary to some children due to dark and witch)
Haunted Mansion but it's scary...
Pirates is scary too...

At Epcot:

Spaceship Earth

At MGM:

Mostly shows like Mermaid and Beauty & Beast and Playhouse Disney.

At AK:

The Safari
There's a ride like Dumbo in Dinoland that your child can ride but I can't think of the name??

Have fun!

You will have lots of rides you will be able to take him on! Have lots of fun!

Most of the rides are slow moving cars through really fun things to see. At 18 months he will enjoy the pretty colors & lights just as much as you will enjoy the whole picture! The CMs at the front of the ride will be able to let you know right away if it's not able to accomodate the 3 of you...but you will NOT be bored!

It's a Small World will be one of his favorites I bet! There is an entire section for little ones although I forget what it's called...someone help me please...brain freeze!

Even the globe in Epcot will be fun for him & educational for you!

Depending on how aware he is I would even suggest the Haunted House! Most of it can be described at "pret-ty" to a little one! Unless you can conceive the meaning of ghosts & such it shouldn't be scary to him.

You can take him on any ride that doesn't have a height restriction. We've taken both our kids as babies and toddlers and they've gone on pretty much everything.

HM and Pirates seem scary when you're older, but may not be bad to a little kid, they didn't faze me two.
Don't forget the safari in AK, mine loved it..well my one year old son fell asleep once;), but every other time they loved it. In Epcot, in addition to Spaceship Earth there is The Land, Journey into Imagination, the rides in Norway and Mexico.
Just pick up a guidebook and anything yoiu don't see a minimum height for, you'll be able to take your son on. :D
