You got lucky. Our 60 day window was Tuesday. I booked a&e right at midnight and then the next day I decided I wanted to move stuff around. There were no alternative time slots available.
7 dwarfs has never been too hard to get. It's like an 8 on a scale of 10 for difficulty to book. A&E is an 11. To me they aren't even in the same category. Everything can be FP+ at 30 days, except A&E which run out by 2am on day 60.
Thanks for posting this. I'm trying to decide whether to book another throwaway room for our March 2016 trip, and it's looking less and less necessary. We only want SDMT, not A&E.
Glad you were able to get what you wanted!
It's possible that the demand has slacked off, but I also think Disney has tinkered with the amount of FPs they allot. It also has to do with the time of year you're trying to book.
I wonder if they are holding back times so something is available at 30 days? I booked on a few days ago, the second my 60 day window opened. I wanted A&E on the 5th day of my trip and the earliest available was 2:30. If I check today (57 days to go) there are no times available on that day. I'll be curious to see if anything else opens up when 30 days get here...
I also had no trouble right after midnight. I wasn't booking A&E, mind you. Mostly got the times we wanted, but some of the times were spaced out by 5-10 minutes here and there for some odd reason.
