Good Monring eveyone. Well, Deb will be back on Monday so this will be my last history post. I enjoyed doing it and thank all of you for your kind attention. So here goes..........

On January 3, 1777, George Washington's army routed the British in the Battle of Princeton, N.J.

On January 3, 1961, the United States severed deplomatic relations with Cuba.

On January 3, 1990, ousted Panamanian leader Manuel Noriega surrendered to U.S. forces, 10 days after taking refuge in the Vatican's diplomatic mission.

On January 3, 2000, the last daily "Peanuts" strip by Charles Schulz ran in 2600 newspapers.

Wishing you all a great weekend.

Thanks Kathy, very interesting.

Thanks, Kathy....:D
