Is it easy to get to the Atlantic Ocean from WDW? We would like to go for one day. Any tips on directions?

Thanks

Take 417N to 528E. This will take you to Cocoa Beach. About an hour and 20 mins.

We drove to Vero Beach and stayed at the Disney resort there for 2 days one trip. What a wonderful way to "end" our WDW experience. It was a very relaxing 2 days after 10 days in the parks.
If you can figure in enough time some year, I highly recommend it! :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I did the Cocoa Beach thing 10 years ago and did not enjoy it. I am sure it had everything with the fact that it was July 4.

I am thinking we will take the drive up I-4 to Daytona Beach this time.

We are staying in Ormond Beach one night, which is just a little bit north of Daytona. I figured its 79 miles (1 hr. 21 min.) from our hotel to Pop Century. Hope this helps a little bit.

It's about an hour or so to Daytona from the airport. About 1 1/2 hours on the return trip to a resort. It also depends on the traffic.
