My wife and I are debating back and forth. Of course she wants to fly but knows it is more econmical to drive. Now our decision is do we rent a car or not. The price for the trip in my truck will be about 450 in gas and the price to rent a more econmical car with gas would be about the same. So we are not really saving much money either way it would be more about saving wear and tear on the truck. Have any of you rented a car for the drive down? Can anyone shed some light on the situation for me?

If your flying, I would say rent. Sounds like you have driven before, so know your way around. Are you staying on property? You don't pay to park at the parks that way. I've heard some horror stories about ME, but have also heard some good, but we are just not bus people. Used to do that until tried rental and will never go back to Disney transport except for monorail.

We are from southern new jersey at the base of the delaware bridge to be exact. I would want to stay at a hotel for one night on the way down and we are staying on property.
