So what did y'all think. I know Kevin has an opinion. :rolleyes1

I think the hats, I mean fascinators, left Kevin....speechless.

Loved the hats. It's one of my fav parts about British culture. I would love to walk around wearing one of those. The dress, on the other hand, was not something I was a fan of as I did not feel that it was appropriate. If you are going to marry the future king, I'd thing you'd go for something a bit more elaborate. I do know that others feel this way and some don't. It's just my opinion. :)

I don't agree. I think the woman should wear the dress, not the other way around. The dress that Diana wore took over and practically smothered her. I thought Kate's dress was simple, but very elegant.

I got up at 3:45am to watch the pre-wedding events!

I loved the dresses, hats, and the tv coverage. I watched the wedding 3 more times over the weekend. It was beautiful. I remember watching Charles and Diana's wedding with my mom, so it was wonderful that my daughter watched this with me (she got up at 2am).

Loved the wedding!!!!

I watched the wedding since it was creating history. I am happy for them. I thought the dress was beautiful on Kate. I am hoping that is a sign of the way they plan to live their lives.

TiVo malfunctioned and didnt tape the wedding.

I have watched the recaps and all I have to say is that I loved Princess Beatrice's hat.

Joan Rivers referred to it as "an IUD".

Loved the hats, even the ones I thought were ugly.

Was interested that some people wore black and Pippa wore white. Did not know they did that there. Live and learn. :)

Thought Kate looked gorgeous. Dress was beautiful - tasteful, elegant, lovely. Flowers, tiara - whole bit - perfect!

Thought Pippa looked just a little more lovely. :cool2: And the girls were adorable.

Kept thinking of Prince William sticking his tongue out at the flower girl when I looked at the kids. Both Princes were dashing in the uniforms.

Even the Queen came off looking not too frumpy in her happy yellow.

Loved Elton John's little splash of color.

I am now (with the exception of when they fall off their horses, which they are always doing) done paying any attention to England's royalty until the highlights of the wedding of Prince William's first child, if it happens and I live to see it. :)

There was a wedding? Who got married?:confused3

I thought it was a beautiful & tasteful wedding, and totally worth getting up at 5am to see. I didn't need to see it 5 times that day, but oh well! :confused3 I was surprised how simple Kate's dress was, but I loved it. Very pretty and it fit her beautifully. And William & Harry were just gorgeous in their uniforms!

Sayhello

I thought Bea's hat looked like a trivet stapled to a beanie. I also have a set of napkin rings almost the exact shape of that hat.

Supposedly, she didn't know what the hat was going to look like before the day. Philip Treacy was making it for her and she told him to surprise her with it because she trusted him. Maybe she should have asked to see it beforehand...

I loved all the hats...but, I especially loved Kate's dress, simply elegant!

I loved the whole show. I can only imagine how many hours of planning it took to make everything go as perfectly as it did.

At certain points, it looked like it was a Disney movie, with the bells ringing and the perfectly dressed Prince and Princess. The only thing lacking were little birds and chipmunks flying around them.

What I saw of it was wonderful. I also thought that Kate's dress was lovely. Simple, yes..but beautiful.
