To my fellow Lushes of the World

Anyone have any idea if the Super Walmart sells regular wine or if the sell "supermarket" wine with a lower alcohol content? We want to order from Wegoshop but I want to make sure I will get real wine and not the wine cooler variety.:rolleyes1

I had the Lemon Citron slushy in April. It was delicious!!! And thanks J.C.&ALI'SMOM for the picture!!

Does anyone know a place close to property to buy a 5th of Bacardi?? Our last trip DW and I drove around for about 45 minutes trying to find a liquor store, we ended up in Kissimmee.......Maybe close to the DTD hotels??

Also, is the liquor in FL regulated......meaning the same price everywhere you go??? Thanks in advance....

12 days to go!!! woooo hooooo!!

Hotel Drive (DTD road) to exit
Make a left-- Goodings plaza will be in front of you
Continue straight on 535 until you hit a Winn Dixie
There is a liquor store separate from the Winn Dixie.

Howdy my fellow imbibers!!!

SharkyGoddess and I have been trying to locate a collected list like the food thread.

Is there a list of what drinks can be had at what location? Either organized by park area or by restaurant (or both). If not, I can start collecting but I'd rather not reinvent the wheel.

Thanks in advance.

CHEERS!

Two months? ***GASP FAINT***

Making a collective drink pic-description page would be fun sweetie!

Sure will! Better yet will be SAMPLING our way through that list!!!

Does the DIS board have an AA meeting? I can make on-line meetings.

Grand Marnier slushies? Are you serious?

Totally going on the to-do list, even with the F&W fest going on. I am going to need a new liver afterwards :upsidedow , but I can't wait. Thanks for the heads-up!

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but you can give it a try:

Found that thread later (had seen it before but the search being wonky like it is).

That is going to be a HUGE help.

I am going to be compiling a "menu" of sorts. Break it down by area (MK, AK, Epcot, DTD, etc.) and then by establishment.

I may even overlay park maps with staggering instructions so you can get to each place - and have a way to check them all off.

The Grand Marnier slushie was the.best.thing.ever. Looking forward to another one next month!

Thanks for the ice wine martini idea. I have ice wine, purchased in Quebec in June, sitting in my fridge ... it's too much for me by itself but I bet a splash of vodka will be great.

I will definitely give that a whirl on my next trip. The only drinks I have tried is the beer at the Germany pavillion- I couldn't believe I was drinking one at 11:30am and you call yourself a lush. That beer made me giddy!! Could you imagine trying a different drink at every country, you couldn't be able to walk out of Epcot- ha!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Please, send it my way. :wave2: We bought some in Vancouver a couple years ago, & have kicked ourselves ever since for not buying more. It costs us more than double here than it did there.

What a great idea!:thumbsup2

PLEASE post a link here when you get this started...I can't wait to drink it, I mean read it...:lmao:

I LOVED the Grey Goose Slushies last month and DH loved the Grand Marnier ones. Had two over the course of 5 days at WDW. Also, try the Welsh Dragon at Rose and Crown and a margarita in Mexico. Then try a Limoncello in Italy. DH also drank a Spaten in Germany and cold Saki in Japan.

I can't wait until Dec 1 when we return!

We make the Welsh Dragons quite frequently at home. Love them and they're easy to make.

Kungaloosh (to those who visit Adventurers Club!)!

Have you tried the slushies at the France wine and champagne kiosk?

When we were there they had 2 flavors Grand Marnier and Grey Goose Lemon Citron, OMG they are sooooooo good. The grand marnier went great with chocolate mousse :thumbsup2

I hope they are still there in December. They are really REALLY good :cloud9:

Can anyone tell me how much they were? Trying to make a budget and I have to try these!!!
