Here are the facts for a possible short mother daughter trip in October 2018.

Me and DD age 4 would ideally go October 17-19, arrive mid morning the 17 do a park the 17th and then the 18 do MK do we hit up the party?

Originally I was thinking arrive the 16 mid morning do the party that night, full day MK on the 17 leave 18.

However it’s really important to me if I do this trip I get to spend the 18th in MK.

So with a party on night 2 instead of night one and a DD who on the last trip didn’t make it up passed 930ish is it worth it? I’m thinking no.

Thinking park the 17th, MK full day the 18th maybe a special dinner.

We will be back August of 2019 so can always do the party then.

Thoughts?

I like the party for a short trip where it gives you extra MK time for less than an extra day would cost. For a long trip with plenty of park time, it might not be as worth it. If you take it easy before the party, I bet she would have a great time.

Well with the party ticket I believe you can start getting in at 4:00 but the actual party/getting treats and such doesn't start until 7:00. If DD is out by 9:30ish again I would say it maybe isn't worth it. But the event itself in my eyes is worth it, I went to my first party in 2016 and I told myself from that day I will be going every year. It is a fantastic event in my eyes and I think you should definitely go at some point :)

Then do I skip MK during the day? And relax? Is that a total waste?

If you don't think she will stay up until midnight I would skip the party. At that age my son would've been done by 10...my DD would've hung until midnight. It really depends on the kid but it's a lot of money if they can't enjoy the entire party.

It’s on the plan for 2019’s trip.

I’m just worried if I go at 4, and don’t get a park ticket and she is cranky of passed out by 9 is it worthy it?

Or do I spend the extra money and do a park ticket that day too? Or is that to exhausting?

This is what I’m thinking. Figure I can do 1900 park for dinner or something for less and still have a great night.

I know a lot of people go to MK in the morning then go back to their hotel and rest until it's time to go back in for the party. I do think it would be very exhausting to go to MK in the morning and stay all night. Are you going to any other parks? Another option is to go to another park, rest at your hotel then go to MK at night for the party.

I would add on a park day, take advantage of the low crowds at MK during the day and then do a fun dinner ADR. 1900 PF fits the bill!

I'm doing a mother daughter trip in November and DD and I are doing our first MVMCP. But she's 12 and my night owl so I know it'll be worth it. If not I would definitely skip it. The cost is too high for just a few hours.

As the poster above me said. I do also believe that to get your full monies worth it is best to stay all the way to midnight. That way you have plenty of time to see characters, hit all the treat spots and get on some rides.

Possibly doing another park just not sure yet. The idea for this trip just came up yesterday, and it’s not 100% happening but I’m trying to plan it out and get a budget set so I can confirm if we are going to do it.

I think park hoping just to fit in a party may not be worth it.

If she was more of a night owl (I would cry 355 days of the year and be happy for 10 vacay days) I would probably not even hesitate. I could probably get her up till 10? But I’m just not sure a cranky kids is worth it. Thinking 2 park days 1900 for dinner that night fun quick trip!

I think skip it this trip! If I could do it arrival day I would do it since it’s going to be a short part day anyway!
