I have many, many nursing/medical text books, reference books and materials. With all information available on line do I keep all these books or donate/toss many of them. A few I would like to hold on to but many I do not ever reference. I want to declultter my book shelves of what I no longer use. What do you disers think. Thanks

I also had a ton of nursing textbooks, until a few yrs ago I asked myself why i was holding on to them, lol.

I did keep a couple just in case I ever need to look something up (but again, with the internet, probably never will touch those couple books either).

But I ended up just recycling the books.... I had looked the ISBN #'s up on Amazon and couple other sites that buy books, and none of them were going over a buck or 2... pretty disappointing after spending close to $100 on each of them.

Feels good to be rid of them though, and they were just taking up space.

I'd get rid of them. Things in the medical world change so frequently that I'm sure they are out of date almost immediately so you'd probably get better information from the internet anyway. Plus, I'm a huge de-clutterer.
