To Julie and Corey

You both are such an awesome parents! You are all so blessed.

Julie & Corey-

I agree with what everyone has said......We have a great little cheeky monkey here in my school. He has been with us since he was 3, he is now eight and there is not one person here who does not love and adore him (or know his name!)

He is a joy and keeps us on our toes!

......Welcome to Holland.......

Kristin

Corey and Julie,

I want to thank you for trusting us enough to share this with us.

It has all really been said so well by others. Speaking from my experience, I truly believe we are not given more than we can handle. We all face challenges in our lives and it is all about 'rising to the occasion.'

The three of you are lucky to have one another.

Julie, I have tears in my eyes as I read this. Not tears of sadness, but tears from the pure love that comes through in your post.
You and Corey are the perfect parents for your precious little Ferris. He is very blessed to have you as parents, just as you are blessed to have little Ferris.
:goodvibes

I cried while writing the post! ;) I am a highly emotional woman and even when I'm totally happy I cry!:confused3

I'm glad that I'm not the only one sitting here with eyes that welled up when I read Julie's post. You can tell by the pictures that Corey has posted of Ferris that he is a very loved little boy and absolutely adorable. He is a very lucky baby to have such loving and caring parents. :grouphug:

I've just listened to the podcast too.
I'm not a great one with words but just to repeat that Ferris is so lucky to have you two as parents, and that you two are so lucky to have such a wonderful baby boy.

We, from all round the world are all so happy for the three of you :)

:goodvibes

Hi Julie and Corey -

I am so very glad to hear the young man's heart is OK! :cool1: I have been praying for you all daily and am very relieved you do not have to endure that challenge. Young Ferris is truly a blessing to you both, your families, and even those of us in your "extended" circle of friends.

Thank you again for sharing the news with us - it is very brave to offer such personal information to such a large group of people who all feel like they know you.

Take care, and love to you all,

Lynne, aka "Carolinagal"

Corey and I knew there would be a great outpouring of love and support for Ferris, as well as for us. Thanks to all of you who have posted for your kind words.

We know that we are truly blessed to have such a perfect little angel in our family. As I watch him sleep I am overcome with all the joy and love I have because of him. We are so happy to be his parents and both of us are absolutely smitten with our beautiful baby boy!

There have been so many changes since he was born! Ferris laughs, smiles, coos and loves to watch our faces. He loves to be sung to and his Dad and Grandma make these adorable bird noises that catch his attention no matter what else is going on. He is such a hard worker and I revel in each and every little milestone!

Thanks again for the love and support! :goodvibes

Julie and Corey,

When I was listening to the podcast cast I had a tear run down my face, not because I was sad but because I knew what a lucky boy Ferris is to have such great parents. I had more tears as I read your post. You can feel the love you have for him.
The three of you are so lucky to have each other. :goodvibes

Corey and Julie,
I had to stop what I was doing at work to listen to this portion of the show. It almost brought me to tears listening to you guys speak about baby Ferris. God never gives us a challenge we cant handle, and Baby Ferris is so lucky to have parents who have unconditional love for him. I see a lot of parents who could care less about there children in my line of work, and it is awsome when you hear of people who cherish there children as much as you guys do. Parents are so important to a childs life, and I'm thankful for mine everyday. Ferris is one lucky little guy to have parents who care about each other, have a great support system around them, and are going to be absolutely amazing parents.

God bless,
Firemanx

I still just love the name Ferris.

me too!
My sister in law just had a baby boy on Saturday, and he only got named today (jack), but I so wanted them to call him Ferris just so I could say the name :lmao:
Sadly I don't think it would work in the UK as it works in the US :(

:goodvibes

When I heard you both talk during the podcast and read some of your posts the thing that came to my mind was, what a perfect family you have.

I'm listening to the podcast as I type this...

I guess I can't add much to what's already been said on this thread, except to say God bless the three of you. I have a feeling things are going to be just fine.

With love, all things are possible. ('Ohana, you know...)

I have don't much more to say then what has already been expressed on this thread.:grouphug:

Julie I cant add much but listening to the podcast I could hear so much love coming from you and Corey. Ferris is a very special angel and has two very special parents. My SIL is downs and she just turned 40 with me. She is such a joy to be around, she is always happy, and loves to see us. My sister works with Downs Adults and we both volunteer for the special olympics every year. You and Corey will have so much fun watching him grow and become a man. Nothing like it I say. I just waited way to long; 12 years before we became parents. Enjoy every day to the fullest.

OK I am not much with words but you get what I am saying. He is such cute little man. Love the cheeks. The joy in your voice is beyond obvious. Love the facebook pics!!

I still just love the name Ferris.

Me too! Almost makes me want to have a baby so I could name him that. My luck it'd be a girl. :teeth:

When I listened to the podcast I admit I was a little surprised, but you know, ALL kids are a challenge in one way or another just as they are ALL blessings. Myself, I can't imagine an anymore perfect couple for Ferris's particular blessings and challenges. :cloud9:

I don't really have anything more to say. I agree with all of the posts...I just wanted to have your words repeated on page 3!

Ferris has some WONDERFUL parents. :grouphug:

I just listened to the podcast and I was so touched when I heard you two talking about your baby boy. You truly are so lucky to have each other. :cloud9:

Nothing new to add...just awe and respect for you both as you accept this so gracefully and lovingly.

As I was listening to the show, I thought to myself, "Julie has this taken care of already! The way she reads and researches? She had a Ph.D. in Downs Syndrome after the first week!"

Can't wait to meet prince Ferris!
