Hi Everyone!
I have been reading so many pre-trip reports and decided to do one for our upcoming trip this December!
Not only is this trip our kids' first trip it also holds a lot of sentimental value for me. My husband and I will hit 10 years together 09/12/2013 and our 1 year wedding anniversary is 12/19/13. We waited quite a while to get married but could never find anything that really fit us until this past December.
Here's a little background on your cast members!
There's me (TJ) and DH Mike

And our Ladybug (7 on 8/23) and Little Man (just turned 6 on 7/11) This picture was taken almost a year ago but I love it!

No they were not planned to be so close together but Little Man has had his own plans since the day he was born (6 weeks early).
TJ - I am the mastermind behind this trip. This will be my 4th trip and the first one since the kids were born. My favorite Princesses are Belle, Ariel, and Rapunzel. What can I say, that girl knows how to handle a frying pan! My favorite non-princess characters are Pascal, Marie, and Maleficent. Hey, we all have a little villain in us.
Mike - This is his first trip to Disney World. He went to Disneyland when he was 4 but that's it. He was such a deprived child! With all my obsessive planning I think he is actually getting a little excited. His favorite Disney character is "anything Star Wars". I gave him a face when he said this but I guess I can't argue with him now that they technically are Disney characters. He also thinks Maximus from Rapunzel is funny.
Ladybug - Is truly a Disney fanatic. She's been asking to Disney for 2 years. Her favorite princesses are Merida, Rapunzel, Belle, and Ariel. She also loves all the animal based movies. Bolt and Aristocats have been the most recent obsessions. She even spent some of her piggy bank money to buy a stuffed bolt at the Disney Store.
Little Man - Likes anything Pixar related but LOVES Toy Story and Cars. He can't wait for Planes to come out. He got 4 of them for his birthday and has not put them down. He makes them play Duck Duck Goose with each other.
As of right now the kids have no idea we are going. Since Ladybug's birthday is 8/23 and Little man's is 7/11 we decided we would do a combined birthday party for them on 8/3. This is also when they are going to find out. I have planned out a hunt for clues (kind like an Easter Egg Hunt). The clues will read:
(Please excuse my blurry photos. Taking pictures on an iPhone in the dark while the kids are in bed is not easy!)

Pack your bags...

Spread your wings...

Fly straight as an arrow...

Second star to the right and straight on til morning...

To a whole new world...

For an adventure of a life time!

The envelopes I made to put the clues in. Ladybug has to find the red, pink, and purple envelopes. Little Man gets the green, blue, and orange.
They are also getting all Disney themed presents to lead up to the clue hunt. After they find and read the clues they will be given a countdown calendar.
There is so much more I have to add but reality is calling me!
Hope you follow and enjoy!
