I've heard some (natural?) Jet Lag remedies mentioned on the DIS but I've never noted down the names.

Can anybody recommend any?

Thanks.

Hi
I use melatonin tablets(1mg) for jet lag. I take 1 a night when i get back for 4 nights.

'Rescue Remedy' by Bachs. works well for all situations, and drinking plenty of water.

I use rescue remedy a lot and took it to WDW when we went in May, I'm sure it worked when I sprayed around my girls when they got "anxious" in queues and such like.

For the first time this year I have not suffered from jet lag, thanks to Virgin. Their flight was 4 1/2 hours late going which meant it was at 10.30 pm because it was our night time it was easier to rest on the plane coming back. We didn't get home till about 3 pm, then managed to stay up till 8 pm. I then had a goodnight's sleep and other than getting up at 9 and going to bed at 2, it has been spot on this year. No early morning wake ups or anything. I am dead chuffed usually have a week of the living dead till I get back to this time zone.

we always take a night flight but it doesn't seem to help - it takes me about 2 weeks after returning home to get back to 'normal'.....

When I used to go over to Hawaii I would alway's get the jet lag. My mom read about some place. It works's take one when you get on the plan and one when you land. I think any kind of aprin will work. It worked for me and you might try flowing your own time for the first couple of day's eat when it your dinner or lunch time. Have Fun:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Let us know if you find something that works for you.:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

I always bring along a few packets of emergen-c. It's a vitamin supplement that you add to water. Tangerine is my favorite. For all I know it's just a placebo, but I think it really helps.

Well i'm willing to try anything so this is a very useful thread right now. i landed thursday morning and i keep dropping off about 11am but i can't sleep till 1am -3am every night, I've got to start school run on Tuesday:scared1: Will be off to Boots later:thumbsup2

Jet Lag is the worst thing ever! I am not looking forward to it with the kids when we return, I might try some of these natural remedies recommended. Thanks!

we got back Friday and have the worse jet lag ever! Which is wierd as this is our 18th trip or something!

Last night i was still awake at 4,15am and my 7yr old son was still awake at 12.30am!

I put my alarm on for 9am just to try and get me in the swing of things.. but in my sleep i turned it off and was woken by my husband at 10.30 when he woke up!

its mad! im exhausted but cant sleep!

Bizarrely at WdW if i had sat down at 6pm - i would have happily fallen asleep :)
