DH and I are undecided as to whether we should go to MVMCP or not. Our kids will be 5.5 and 3 at the time. We are going with a friend and she is willing to do what we want. We would be going on our last night there? Any thoughts for or against. We will probably be down in Disney in December at least one more time. :wave2:

GO! It was so much fun. We went in 2004 and we would do it again and again! I know you said you would be going on your last night but I would try to avoid busier evenings like weekends. We went on a Tuesday (or Wednesday I forgot) and it was not too crowded.

Yes I would definitely return. My dh said it was his favorite Disney trip. We saw the parade twice and my dd managed to stay awake. It is definitely worth the money!

Our kids were the same age as yours during our December 2005 trip. We really enjoyed it and will be going again this year! I would definately doing it at least once :santa:

Absolutely! Just make sure the kids get good naps so you can enjoy the later hours.

Have a great time!

We did it last year when DD was 5. Basically for the money we rode rides over and over. Which would have been great but we had done that all day and all friday with very little lines. It was a Long line for the picture we got taken, the cookies and coco were ok. The parade was nice but a 11 we had to wake up dd from her stroller nap to watch it. I wasnt going to spend the money again this year, I was sure I wouldnt spend the money again. It didnt live up to everything I had read about it.

But DD has begged and pleaded to go back, I gave her a choice between several things I knew she would love to do. She still picked the MVMCP. So she and I are going back again. I think she loved the fact she rode goofys barnstormer 4 times without getting off! If you want to ride with out ending on some things then go for it. If not please save your money.

You didn't say what else you'll be doing that day. It'll be our 1st time at WDW, but we're going to try it with our DD4. We're making it a slow day with the Princess Storybook Breakfast then the day at the resort swimming, napping, etc. until it's time for dinner and MVMCP.

Please forgive my lack of knowledge on this Disney acronym. I can usually figure these things out, but not this one. What is MVMCP?

Oh I would DEFINITELY go! SOO much fun. My friends and I all went last year (we're all 23-25) and we had the BEST time. You'll love it! :)

I have never been, so I am not really the best one to give advice, but I say go! We are going 2x on our upcoming Nov. trip!

We went last year. DS was 3 1/2 and he loved it. Loved chasing down the snow on Main St. Crowds were low and ride lines were just about nil. The parade is my favorite of all the Disney parades.

Characters are also out and about and lines for them are low. I missed him, but I guess the night we went Abu from Aladdin was in Adventureland and we also saw Bullseye in Frontierland. (I guess both are somewhat scarce)

And the Holiday Wishes are wayyyy cool.

We went last year and personally for the money spent on 5 of us I didn t think we got much for the money. The parade and the shows were nice but later I found out I could see the same thing at different times during the week for free. The night we were there it was very cold and over cast the fireworks were a waist of time because you could hardly see them thru the clouds.

We've been to it twice and would definitely go again. I think you should go.

I would without any doubt go and enjoy the party. Have yourself a late start that day, relax, naps for the kids so they can handle the late evening hours. You will have such a good time,

We are going this year when we go, we are going on DD's birthday, so she is going to have a great birthday.

What time do they start letting you into the park? We plan on just lounging during the day and resting up before we go at night but I thought I read we can get in before 7 p.m.??

Last year we got in at 4 pm with our party tickets and the rush of people leaving was nuts! we definitely had the park to ourselves!! the snickerdoodles and hot chocolate are SOO good! But dress warm, we were there 12/2 and it was FREEZING!!
