I want a PBJ shake at Prime Time, and the soup from LC, but can you get them to go without eating there and pay out of pocket?

IIRC, I've seen someone else post recently that the PB&J shake is available from the 50sPTC bar. I don't know that you could get it in a to-go cup, but you wouldn't need an ADR or feel obligated to buy anything else.

It's been several years since I've seen a post about getting soup from LC to go, so I don't know that it's still possible.

What are your exact trip dates? I don't actually care :) but you might overlap with the beginning of the Food & Wine Festival. It starts September 28, and it's extremely likely there'll be a Canada booth with small cheese soups, and icewine :teeth:

We will be there 20th - leaving the 30th. Uh oh...should I be worried about crowds?? Would be LOVERLY to get some cheese soup at the Canuck booth. :cool1: we dont drink alcohol though..so I guess more soup for me..

Friday will be better than Saturday or Sunday. Get to Epcot sometime in the morning, before World Showcase opens, and be waiting at the rope (or CM blockade, or whatever - I stroll in eventually) and grab a map of the booths. It's very likely that the Canada booth will be near Canada, but best to be prepared.

They will give you a to-do cup if you ask at the bar.

Our last trip, I just wanted a Cobb Salad and had hoped I could just get one to go so the rest of the family could get what they wanted elsewhere...I wasn't able to do so...

(boo hoo)

My theory is that if you make ADRs, then show up and ask for your food "to go", they'll willingly accomodate you. However, if you show up without ADRs, wanting to get food to go like at a CS, they won't because their kitchen can only accomodate doing so much, and that's all based on the number of ADRs. Has anyone found my theory not to work-someone have ADRs, show up and ask for their food packaged to go (maybe someone's sick or extra tired) and yet, been denied? I would think that if you want food to go at a TS place, you can get it only if you make an ADR (or the resturaunt isn't busy). Does that theory hold true?

I've read of that happening on occasion in a resort restaurant, but not in the parks.

Thanks. I guess I really only need the shake...I have tried to make one myself but nothing comes close...Im not a huge fan of 50s PT, so I thought Ill ask at the bar. As for the soup I dont totally need it, but will try for it at the food and wine festival.
