To go or not to go, that is the question...

We have the opportunity to take a quick (5 day)trip to WDW (dh and I alone for the first time) in the beginning of Aug:

Free dining with code, about $700-$800 in giftcards between Sunshine Rewards and Disney Visa points, 2 Rainforest cafe $50 giftcards through Mypoints. All of which we could save and add to for a trip or a cruise in the future (except for Rainforest if we cruise...no biggie)

the flip side:

DD will be entering high school in the fall: tuition=$8500 per year, new clothes due to no uniform, travel with increased gas prices approximately 30-40 minutes each way twice a day.

Plus, I don't know if it will be as much fun w/o dd.?

We can afford it right now, but things either way will be tight next year and for the next 4...???

What would you do?

Think again. Things will be tight for at least the next EIGHT years (hello...college!)

Go now while you have some money to spend!

PS - Disney without the kiddos can be a lot of fun. You have that room to yourselves for 5 child-free nights. Enjoy!

GO!!! DO not hesitate. There will be college to pay for, then possibly graduate school. What about a wedding? Go while you can stil enjoy it and do not look back. Our school secretary and her husband just went for a week to celebrate their anniversary. Some of the teachers did not "get it". I did!

Two weeks later her MIL has a serious heart attack!!! :confused3
Go! Go! Go!

Life is short. Adult only trips are great they show you disney in a whole new way. You won't be sorry you went only sorry if you don't.

Adult only trips are FANTASTIC. My only problem is going in August. That is the one time of year we won't go. Way too hot for us.

I wouldn't pass up a trip! I'd be making me some reservations!!

Looks like a consensus! Go! Enjoy! DH and I went 2 years ago and it was FANTASTIC! We've had a lot of unexpected expenses this year so, it will be at least one more before we get another chance. Let me live vicariously! ;)

Wow, it appears that all the opinions are a little one sided! LOL You would think we are a bunch of crazy Disney freaks around here or something!! Hahaha!!!

Thanks for all the opinions...I mean...encouragement!:lmao:
