Okay, so I'm in a job I can't stand and have been working here 3 years. The pay is good, but the job not so much. I'm not going to quit because the job offers flexibility and a decent salary considering.

Soooo...... here's my original game plan. I will have all my CC debt paid off by the end of this year if I keep at it as I have. I was going to double up on car payments next year to get the heap paid off quicker.

I'm turning 48 in a week. By my 50th b'day, I want to be moved from where I am and buy a condo in a nice building.

Well..... I know I need a better job to purchase the condo. I'm thinking about going back for my Masters Degree in Marketing. However, this is going to throw a wrench into all my plans since the Degree will cost money. I'm not sure if I can get student loans for a Masters or not.

I just want to do something for my 50th that I've always wanted to do: Own my own home.

Any advice?

Thanks!

You can get a student loan for your Master's degree. Also, do a cost analysis to make sure it is worth it! Good luck deciding.

Do you happen to have education as a benefit at work? Even if they only paid for a few classes, it would be great. The good thing is...most masters programs are 36 credit hour programs. You can do it in a year if you really dedicate yourself.

And yes, you can get student loans out for a graduate program (which is a Masters Degree) - up to about $120,000 (I only know this because we are exploring masters programs for my husband right now).

Good luck with whatever your decision is!
