To/From Typhoon Lagoon

I read on an older post that if using Disney Transportation, you need to take a bus from your resort to Epcot and then get on another bus to get there. (And same story on your return back)

It also said that it starts at 2pm.

Are these both true? The whole 2pm seems to not make sense to me and I am hoping this is a mistake.

All true.

Before 2:00 PM,the buses are direct(shared with DTD).

It is a temporary thing because of Disney Springs construction.

No end date that I have seen. We did this on our trip earlier this month. Regular bus transport there but on the way back we had to go through Epcot. All resort guests get on an Epcot bus. Then, since we were going to the Grand Floridian via monorail, we had to through bag check at Epcot to get through to the monorail. Good times.

Let's just say that when my husband and kids go next month, they are planning to drive to/from the Pop.

Does anyone know what people who are returning to Epcot area resorts...i.e. Beach Club, Boardwalk..are supposed to do? Is there a bus dedicated for them as well?

Yes,the Crescent Lake Resorts have buses at Epcot during this period.

If I wanted to go from Typhoon Lagoon to DTD and it is after 2PM, do I have to Epcot and then my resort and then DTD? If so, we may be skipping Typhoon Lagoon.
