Ok so I thought I had this all planned out, but reading some of the message boards has me panicking and second guessing my plan... We are going to the MVMCP on 11/28. No other parks for us that day, just plan on being at MK at 4:00pm. I have a 6:30 BOG reservation that night. It's the only BOG dinner that I could get for the week we are there (2 xmas parties and a private CM party plus free dining are making it crazy difficult!). It's our first party and I'd hate to waste time at a TS BUT my original thought was this:

Get to BOG on 15-20 minutes before our reservation in hopes of being seated on time. Know what we want in advance and order as soon as the waiter comes. We are on the meal plan by the way! Hopefully get out of BOG by 7:30 or 8:00 at the absolute latest, then get ready to watch the shows that the castle and the Frozen Holiday Wishes. Rides, fireworks, ect depending on how long the kiddos ( 2 and 4) last.

My question is this.... is it a horrible idea to keep this reservation? I know it cuts in to valuable party time but it is the earliest party dining reservation (perhaps it wont be so backed up?). Should I continue to try to change our dinner to 11/29? And can you suggest any other TS dining alternatives for 11/28 if I end up canceling. I guess we'd have to stick to resorts or DS for the meal... perhaps a late lunch with easy access to MK by 4?

Help help help! I'm constantly changing my mind! It's the last piece of the puzzle that has been 8 months in the making!

What is your priority? The tickets are pricey. You look she a good chunk of party time

Eating at bog....is it that critical to life? If it is more important to eat at bog, there you go

Otherwise, it is just dinner. I would concentrate on park time. Especially as you think your kids will fade. If they fade by 10, you may have 2 hours of party time. Makes those tickets really really expensive

I do think the "must eat at BOG!!!" is very overhyped, and I think with kids the ages of yours, you will be fortunate to make the fireworks (I hope you have a stroller). 2 hours inside at BOG is a real drag on doing all the things at the party. It's also a drag on the kids.

Yeah eating at BOG is not a super priority. I grabbed it cause it sounded appealing. We actually have done breakfast there in the past and have another breakfast scheduled on the 30th at BOG. So we will still get to eat in beast's castle.

Where should we go instead to use up that TS credit? Suggestions appreciated!!!

We definitely have a stroller. My little one will pass out no problem. My daughter is a power house at night. Girl would go until midnight if I let her. We're not leaving before those fireworks.

Are you going to MK on other days? If so, I would either eat a TS as soon as you walk into MK at 4/4:30 pm (we like Skipper Canteen, the Plaza and LTT are good too) OR, if you would rather use that time to tour the park, go to an MK resort for a late lunch around 2 pm so you will enter MK at 4 pm - IMHO, all of the 1 TS MK resort restaurants are good - 1900, GF Cafe, Kona, The Wave, WCC or Trail's End.

We do have more days at MK. The 29th we are doing MK in the afternoon/evening and 30th we are going in the morning and leaving around noon. Currently I don’t have a TS scheduled for MK on the 29th. Been trying to reschedule my BoG to then without any luck. Looking for a plan B now :)

Thanks for the suggestions!

If you could get a reservation for crystal palace around 5 that would be perfect. You would be in for maybe 1 hour since it is a buffet.
