How much Is Disney charging for case of water at gift shops ?

Same as regular soft drinks/sodas.

When I'm at a theme park in the summer, I drink close to 100oz of water a day.

So, I always carry a refillable water bottle - wide mouth, so I can fill it with ice. When I go to QS, I can't generally go straight up to the front because of my walker (it barely fits in most of the little queues), so I wait in line and ask for a cup of just ice plus a couple cups of the ice water. Ice goes into the bottle, then as much of the water as I can fit, and then I drink the rest out of the cups right then.

I absolutely love the self-service soda fountains in Backlot Express and Electric Umbrella, it's so nice to just be able to fill up and go. And it's even better over at - gasp - Universal where I can get ice and water out of the Coke Freestyle machines all over the place. I've never bought the soda mug, but I know every single location for those machines.

I buy a case of water at Publix/Walmart/Target then bring a couple in my backpack. When they are gone I end up buying in the park so it's cold.

Yeah, those are great places.

I really wish that Disney would put up Self Service stations all around the parks. And guests can buy refillable mugs, or for the resort guests to bring the resort mug!

We get a few of those bag water bottles and fill them up at the water fountains. It is cold enough for when you just need a drink. I also bring some flavor packets to dump in for the kids.

We bring a small backpack anyways, so we bring a cold bottle of water for each of us into the park. After those are done, we just buy drinks at the Parks. When we used to need a stroller for our kids, we brought in way more drinks.

I always bring a bottle of water into the parks and buy some later when needed. Dh and I usually share. I have gotten water from QS too.

We'd like to travel light, but we just don't. Since we pack our own food anyway, we bring water too. We have a small umbrella stroller specifically for our food. We have a soft cooler bag that's pretty large where we keep the food and just put the bag in the stroller. We also have a plastic flask that holds about 2/3 gallon of water. I freeze it the night before so it's half a solid ice block when we leave. That keeps water cold for our dinner or lunch. Often what we will do is park the gear stroller somewhere and do our thing. If we need water then, we get the free cups or use a fountain. We then come back to the stroller for our meal and have fresh cold water waiting. It's not as big of a deal having the gear stroller as it sounds. Besides, my kids love pushing it and argue over who's turn it is. For us, it's a much better solution than eating in the parks.

I have one of those foldable water bottles that I sometimes clip onto my belt loop and fill it from water fountains just so I can have it available. Most of the time I just go to QS and get a free cup of water. Some will give you the little cup and some give you a big cup. I've never had to wait. In the summer the water in the fountains can be a little warm.

We get water at CS places (and some kiosks) free when we get thirsty. Rarely have we had to wait to be helped. I don't want to carry a bottle of water around all day. Keep it light.

We order and have cases of water delivered to our resort. I LOVE WATER I never leave the house without it. LOL

I had a Bobble filter bottle but couldn't find it for our trip last week. I missed having it. At first I filled some cups with water from Roaring Forks soda machine to at least have in the room. Then a couple of days into our trip someone left their leftover water and Gatorade in a box marked "Free" so we had that. We'd start the day with a water and a Gatorade in our backpack's side pockets and then buy something later if needed.

Someone got on the elevator at WL with a case of water bottles and said it cost her $6 at the Mercantile, but since we had picked up the free water, we never did go check it out. If true, that would be well worth it.

FYI ... Prime Now is now offered in Orlando. Its a 2 hour delivery service. They have grocery (no bread or milk when I ordered but other stuff like yogurt and drinks.. I think they will get those items as other Prime Now offers milk and bread. It just started the week before I was in Orlando on June 8th).

I got a 24 case of water ...Dasani, 24 PK, .5 Liter Bottles for $4 (I believe its know listed at $4.99) but that is only $2 more for 23 more bottles... I also got Gatorade. You have to have a minimum order of $20 but there is a coupon for $10 off your first order. Delivery is free if you are a prime member and pick the 2 hour if not I think its $5.

I placed the order the night before (you can order up to 24 hours in advance). I set it to arrive when I thought we would be getting off the MDE bus. We actually got in early and only took about an hour to get to our hotel. I set it to arrive between 2-4 and we got to the hotel at 2. I didn't want to wait so Disney said Bell Service would hold it... even the cold stuff.

Bell Service actually delivered it to my room and put all the cold food in the fridge. It worked great. I order breakfast foods and snacks and then just got Milk at the "store" at the hotel. Was cheaper then other grocery delivery services. I believe I saw a case of 24 for $6.99 but is the little 8oz bottles in the Disney Store.

I take my water bottle everywhere. I recently got SWELL bottles. They are amazing. I would put ice in the morning and fill with water and the ice would last all day. I am a big water drinker and want my water cold. At Disney in the summer within 5 mins if you buy a bottle its starts losing it chill

I've never carried a water bottle in the winter months. we'll be going for the first time in summer this year. We do plan on bringing at least 2 hydroflasks. my kids will drink water more if it's cold. they also will be picky about flavor of the water, so I'm planning on bringing Mio to squirt into the water bottles and shake

Also, the easier it is to have MORE water on hand the better. I have to make sure my family is hydrated

We just got back from a trip (6/13-6/18). It was HOT and hydration is key. We also have 3 kids so it was important to have the water with us at all times. We have the Bobble water bottles (a recommendation from some DISers!) because I hate the taste of FL tap water. We filled them up constantly throughout the day. We filled them up at night and put them in the fridge (and even in the freezer for an hour in the morning) to start them off cold, but they warmed up quickly in the FL sun. The drawback to the Bobble Sport is that the spout is not big enough for ice cubes.

Personally, I try to limit our use of disposable water bottles, at home and outside. It killed me the one time we went to the park in the evening with no bag/no water bottles and we had to buy some. The horror! LOL So if that's important to you, and if you'll have a bag with you anyway, then I would say bring a refillable bottle. Oh, and the water fountains that are just sitting out in the sun are NOT cold. Was so excited when I was able to fill up one time at the soda fountain at a counter service place at dinner.

I carry my Brita bottle. My backpack has the side pockets so it is easy to slip in and out. I always started the day with half ice/half water then when it got empty I would stop and get some free ice water and pour it into my bottle. I am not a water drinker but I force myself when in the parks and it is much easier for me to take a swig every few minutes than it is to try to chug down a cup all at once. Just personal preference and what works for me. I think we may have waited behind one person one time when getting water and several times they had the cups filled and ready to go.

This is what we do as well. Our DD is still using a stroller so we use one of the big "Mommy Hook" carabiners and put it on the stroller handlebar ( a city mini) and hang our water bottles from there. It's a lot easier, for us, to do this than to stop and find a CS when anyone is thirsty.

Same here!!! We've used the Bobble during the last 4 trips or so. A lifesaver! We're all huge water drinkers and it's nice to dump CS water in the Bobble (or any filtered bottle) so we can also drink it during waiting in lines. We also use it to fill up with water fountain water so it takes the nasty taste away. We just carry one and share between the four of us so we don't have as much to carry.

We took our hydryflask in Dec and while I love how they keep the water cold to me I found it heavy and bulky. I prefer a camelback.
