Remind your kids to return their books to the school library before leaving on your trip.

My 3rd grade DD's library books were in her desk the whole week we were at WDW.

I just got a library fine notice with her report card today. Apparently the books were due back while we were gone. Whoops!!

Thank goodness the fine was only 30 cents.

Thought I would save another parent a few cents on a fine.

We forgot about this too. Luckily our school library doesn't charge an overdue fee. DS just wasn't allowed to check out anymore books until he brought the overdue ones back.

I once forgot to return video rentals...only had 4 of them out, $3.99 a day for 7 days!!!

Luckily I used my charm to get the fine reduced
