How is everyone feeling?

Well, sinus infection is all gone, but still dealing a little with this rash. Thursday is my last day of prednisone, so we shall see what happens after that.

How are you? Did you go to work?

I've only been "getting sick" since Saturday (well, maybe Friday night). I went to the doctor yesterday (student health, and they never once mentioned pregnancy or mono-there go the stereotypes) and found out my asthma from childhood was reactivated by a virus. On Saturday I could hardly move and I've been having a little of that for a period everyday, but basically it's only hard for me to walk a long way. Then it feels like there's a rubberband squeezing my chest closed.

I've got an inhaler again and I'm supposed to be on a regular regimen of ibuprofen for a while. Luckily I don't have to start working in the schools on Tues/Thurs until next week.

How's everybody else holding up?

I feel blah, spent two hours in bed this afternoon, only got up because the kids came home from school.

Now that I'm a proud member of this group --

I went to my doctor this morning and she checked my lungs -- yup, there's congestion there!! She said it wasn't significant, and doesn't want to put me on antibiotics just yet because she's not sure if it's coming or going. She said I'm to drink lots of fluids and call her on Friday.

So ... I feel better, but I'm still drained.

And now to repeat the same story to my mom ...

I am posting for DD3, she hasn't mastered the reading and writing thing yet.

But my poor baby girl has the stomach flu. Started last night, she is in the feel good phase right now and is searching for something and running around.

I am very lucky I work from home and that my parents watch her at our home.

Not suffering quite as badly, I have a small pharmacy now that keeps me functional. I am going back to work on Thursday. Although, I am enjoying the stay at home, HOWEVER, the lack of paycheck hurts quite a bit.

For the last few weeks people at work were getting sick and thus passing it on to other people. I started feeling kind of bad last night and got sick this morning and called in. After 7 more hours of sleep on top of the 7 I had already gotten, I feel much better.

Feeling better. Been on meds for 7 days now for this URI. I am feeling better but an not totally well yet.

Unfortuately, my whole family can join the sickie club.

It started Friday afternoon with my 6 year old DD throwing up and then diarrhea kicked in. She was wiped out on Saturday. Then fine on Sunday but then the rest of us were sick on Sunday and Monday.

We all went back to work/school today. It was horrible. That's the first time we all got sick together.

I'm feeling better. Today is my last day of antibiotics, and I went to work (unfortunately). My boss is sick so I just hope I don't catch whatever she has. Other than that, I'm doing ok.

I had to take an inhaler today that ended up burning my chest and making me short of breath..........go figure! I have gone to work a couple of hours yesterday and a few hours today. My doc advised me to take it slow....but to do *alittle* more each day. I am still tired, and my lungs aren't clear yet........but I guess that is what you expect with pneumonia!

I am glad your sinus infection is gone, but sorry you are still dealing with the rash. When it rains, it pours! aw:

Well today I finally went to the dr after almost a week of being sick - headache, body aches, sore throat, ear ache, ect.... I know, I know, why didn't I go to the dr sooner you say????? I THOUGHT that it would just go away but this bug just won't let go of me. So today, off to the dr I went, just in time because I developed pink eye .... I'm on antibiotics because the dr says one of my ears look like it is infected, although it doesn't hurt at all, and I have eye drops for the pink eye. Caught it all from dd2 who had pink eye on 12/31.

This is one group I didn't want to join! Nevertheless, I'm applying for membership. Went to the doctor today for a regular Thyroid check up and he didn't like the way my breathing sounded so I'm on antibiotics for bronchitis and a sinus infection. The sneezing is really cranking up tonight.

Hey, if you resign from this club do you think the symptoms will go away?

We have all had a bug. I am feeling better but DS and DH are still feeling bad. This is the second bug DS has had in the past month so he's really tired of dealing with them. I finally got around today to taking down my Christmas decorations. I caught "whatever" before Christmas and it just sapped me so I have just not felt like dealing with taking down, packing up, and putting away Christmas stuff. I told myself that if decorations were still up at Disney, I wasn't THAT late in taking mine down!

Hope all of you sickies begin to feel better soon and the rest of you stay away from this thread. We may be contagious!

Count us in.

DS picked up a cold early in the Christmas holiday... and was so sweet that he had to share it. DW and I saw our doc today, who told us it's an upper respiratory infection. He said it's viral... so no antibiotics for us!!! We both got some super cough meds. I sometimes cough so hard I can't decide whether to pass out or throw up (sorry about that picture).

Only our DD has managed to fight this off. She's 9 and never gets sick.

I have been sick since last Monday. I start with colds chills and headache when I got home from work. Then I past out cold for two days. Was not able to get out bed. Then have dizzles spells and could not get warm. I have been very weak.

On to this week now. I fill like now I will hack lung if I don't stop coughing. I have a bronchitis and a sinus infection now.

What I have does not if get better anytime soon. I have been out work for 2 weeks and looks like going on week 3.

I have been 2 doctor twice and I have a very bad virus that has been going around.
