Yay - we finally got got to participate on this forum, after lurking (and learning heaps) for weeks! -
Now things are getting closer! - We will be arriving at the HOJO on the 27th of May (all the way from New Zealand) and after Legoland, SeaWorld and Universal, we will finally get to go to the Disney parks from 31st of May till the 3rd of June! --- Awesome --- so excited!

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my INCREDIBLE rental car rate I found TODAY for a Mini-Van rented from LAX in May.

My dates are 5/13-5/21/08 (but I checked many other dates around the same time and the rate was still the same!). We had originally reserved a full size car for $179.86 with Southwest's booking discount (was best rate I found until today).

Today I reserved a mini-van, same time period, same everything for $180.00 from Alamo! This rate is LOWER than their cost for the economy Guess they must have a glut of minivans available. In any event, if you're interested in a Minivan, check it out!

P.S. I did my reservation on Costco.com and saved $20 (don't have to be member) AND already checked-in online, no waiting at counter. I'm SO excited! Just 3 more days!

this will be our 1st trip to disneyland!!! we will be there june 5-12!! i'm trying to learn as much as i can on these boards before we go. we've made our ps to BB and WCT but i'm trying not to worry too much and just enjoy our magical vacation!!

We're going to be there June 8-13. We're also celebrating our 25th anniversary, also one of our DD's HS graduation. The whole family is traveling with us - me, DH, DD (17), DS (11), DD (23) & DSIL (27). This will be our first trip to DL. Lots of planning! Looking forward to an exciting time.

We will just miss you, darren123 as we arrive at DL on the 8th of June. It's a shame too, as I would love to buy you and your bride a bottle of wine at the Hearthstone Lounge at the Grand for your anniversary! It's my 25th this year also and there's no better place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary that at Disneyland. I celebrated my 50th birthday at DL during the 50th anniversary of DL a few years ago and it was a blast! My son traveled to Australia last summer as part of the Student Ambassador program and he had a great time! Cheers!
