Anyone know the current prices on the beachcomber shack or umbrellas? Hold times are so high I am trying to avoid calling just for prices!
TIA

Good luck getting a price or reservation. We tried for our spring break and could never get thru, phone message said call back later and hung up. Never got thru. Tried to rent in person when we went to typhoon lagoon but they were sold out.

Ok thanks - I guess its worth a call then.

I booked a Beachcomber shack last week for mid-May and total with tax is $368.10, paid at time of making the reservation. It took me a few times of two hour+ holds before I finally got through.

I booked same day a couple of weeks ago and a “Premium Plus” Beachcomber Shack was $319.50 including tax. I didn’t know/I had missed that they had added different types of shacks, but the Premium Plus versions are new and have nicer seats, a TV, fridge, and are a little bigger. If I recall correctly there was also a “Premium” shack and a regular shack (in the past when I’ve rented shacks there was only one type, so this was all new, to me at least).

Note cabana pricing is usually seasonal and Disney doesn’t really make its seasons all that clear; so pricing on your date may vary.

Hope that helps.

Question for lorilori and GADisneyDad14: Did you get to request an area of the waterpark where your shack will be located or do they just assign one when you arrive? I understand there are some near the wave pool, some near the lazy river, and maybe some by Crush 'n Gusher. Also, wondering if we tip the host/hostesses? Read somewhere that they don't accept gratuities. Thank you for any information/advice you can share!

I don't know if you were able to reach Disney by phone yet, but I talked to them yesterday and this is the info I got: "Standard" 6 person shack--$362.10, "Premium" 8 person shack--$456.89, "Premium plus" 6 person shack(TV, Fridge)--$479.25. These prices include taxes and are probably from June through August. Good luck!

Did they say if there's a difference between "Standard" and "Premium" besides the 2 extra seats? Thanks!

Unfortunately they did not say. My understanding is that the premium shacks are slightly larger in order to accomodate the extra chairs. I believe you can get a standard and add up to 4 extra guests at $25/pp, but I believe that only gets you an extra drink cup and towels/pp, not seating. One review mentioned that perhaps they throw in a nearby umbrella with seats (with the premium shack), but I doubt it. This is truly one of the hardest purchases to get details on--nobody seems to have concrete answers and the staff at Typhoon Lagoon have proven absolutely unreachable. I'm hoping more people who get one of these shacks in the next month or so will report back on the experience. Good luck!

Thanks!! I have a premium booked for early June since that was the only "category" available. Will share the experience afterwards. It's our first time to Typhoon Lagoon so hoping it's worth it!!
