TL - Beachcomber shacks & Reserved chairs/umbrella

We rented an umbrella last summer and it was more than worth the $55 we spent. We had 5 in our family, so they just gave us an extra towel and wristband and didn't charge us more. We were at Typhoon Lagoon in the best area...right above the wave pool. I would recommend requesting umbrella #24 or one in the same area. You can watch the action in the wave pool from your lounger, it's centrally located and close to Typhoon Tilly's.

Perhaps a crazy idea...anyone with 2 or 3 people going to TL on July 3rd want to share a cabana?

You used to be able to rent cabana for 1/2 day, I don't know if that's still true. I will say the cabana is great but for us it was a splurge and something we probably will never do again.

It would definitely be a splurge - however I have lupus & am extremely sun sensitive because of meds - my kiddos are not! Lol I'm thinking I might explore a little but then will content to sit & read the rest of the day. Still thinking about which one to reserve. I guess I could just reserve the umbrella/chairs & then if there is a cabana available when we get there I can decide that day

Hi, everything I can find online says the reserved lounges are located in Getaway Glen which looking at a map appears rather secluded. I guess your saying they are actually located in various locations? As far as the one you recommend, would you say It's to the right, left or below the wave pool? And was there a lot of foot traffic at this location?

We rented the chairs at TL in September. It was fantastic. When we reserved they didn't allow us to request a certain location. We ended up being by the wave pool. It was a great location. It is to the right of the wave pool up on the hill. The area is up two steps and roped off so there isn't any foot traffic in the area other than the people renting umbrellas and cabanas.
