So sorry for your loss M&N. Praying for the family.

M&N, so sorry for your loss. Sending lots of prayers and hugs to you and her family.

M&N - Prayers go out to your friend's family and for you. It is hard to lose a good friend.

:grouphug: Group hug needed.

Your friend is not alone in her journey to heaven. We received a call early this morning that my DH's grandfather had passed away. We were very close to papa and the kids are quite upset about it too. The holidays are going to be tough again. Nana passed away 3 years ago Christmas Eve. We take comfort in knowing they are back together but will miss them so. :sad1:

M&N and D&D ~ My condolences to both of you on your loss.

I spent the day packing and doing laundry...can't believe how much junk we need for a 2 day trip!!

I'll drop by on Friday...hope everyone has a good few days.

Good evening!

Thought I would come hang out for a little while. Hopefully DH and DS12 will be going to bed soon so I can take over the TV. DS8 has been in bed since 8PM so no worries about him.

Pikester, in bed since 8pm? Wow, I wish my kids did that. Right now, they are watching The Wizard of Oz for the 3rd night in a row.

Yup, 8PM. DS8 goes to bed at 8PM most nights and I would guess falls asleep pretty quickly as I never hear him moving around up there. DS12 goes to his room at 9PM. He has had some trouble falling asleep but when I go to bed around 10PM the light in his room is out so I'm just guessing that he is asleep.

DH is falling asleep in the recliner even though I've been trying to get him to go upstairs to bed so I can take over the recliner and the TV. I've had no luck as of yet.

My husband would always sleep in the recliner at our old place. But now we have no room for the recliner here. He hates it but I am glad to be rid of it.

 D&D. I heard that you loose people in pieces...when they die and later as things bring them to mind. You are experiencing Nana's loss again. It is comforting to know they are at a better place but it is still hard for us here.

Pikester---you are still here! I guess you don't work tomorrow?

I had a dinner with retired teachers tonight then 2 calls to make when I got home. My cousin wants me to babysit for several hours on Thurs. She has a hair appointment and it's longer because of highlights. I laughed because I have mu=ine in the am. She could not get her regular sitter and a little 2 yr old cannot be patient for that long. She can usually handle mommie's cut but the extra will just be too much. She hasn't seen me in a while so I hope she doesn't cry. She is a little spoiled in that she doesn't have sitters too often. I think as long as I play with her, she'll be ok.

M&N, how are you doing? And I'm sure you'll be fine babysitting the little one Thursday. She'll remember you and I bet you'll both have a blast.

D&D, sorry for your loss too. It's hard when it happens near the holidays. My Grandma died Christmas Eve 27 years ago and I still feel it every year. She was the best--I miss her sooooo much! She would absolutely LOVE DD, but she sure wouldn't take any garbage from DS!

Ladies! I finally got a chance to find an internet cafe and check in with all my fave women....
