TKers Take the Fifth!

Totally agree with you about Suzanne. I always laugh when she screws something up and then has this shocked look on her face when Chef asks who screwed up and she's looking around like somebody else did it. Hello!

HI! I'M HERE!!!

Sorry to have been away for so long. Things have been way hectic as always. I just never seem to get too much computer time these days. I'm actually on a very short break at work, and just wanted to "shout out" to all my TKers. I miss you guys!

Skimmed a page or 2 anyway...

My little one was till pretty stuffy this morning. No fever or anything, thankfully. Gave her some stuffy nose medicine tonight and she is out like a light.

My oldest daughter just came out to ask me her goofy question of the night. :rolleyes1 She wants to know, when you are hanging upside down, are you holding your shirt up or down? :rotfl2:

Nice to "meet" you. I used to be around here a lot, but life has kind of gotten in the way of my computer time recently.

How old are your little ones? My tiny guy (1yr) has been fighting off some nasty colds recently. Hope LO is doing better.

And, your DD sounds like my DS. The craziest questions! (and usually at bedtime too...) His most recent was. "How do zombies entertain theirselves?" :rotfl:

OMG! Didn't anyone teach these girls on BB anything? First, don't cross your legs on television....cross at the ankles. And if you MUST cross at the knees, cross AWAY from the cameras! Their skirts are so short we're going to catch a glimpse of their hoo-ha if they don't watch it!

LOL MK! Are you our resident expert on television etiquette now? :cutie:

I watched Biggest Looser too. There were 4 over 400! Two had to go to the hospital after the mile run.
We watched too. That one woman's story made me cry. I just can't fathom, and I am so blessed.

Evening ladies.
Here's what the Disney website has to say about the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage:

Wow! That sounds really cool. I'll have to look into it if we ever get back to Disney. (Keeping my fingers crossed for a year or 2).

disney54us....how you? Catch us up on how you've been doing! Did you know that LITC had a baby boy named Walter? He's so cute!

Awwwww!!! Congratulations LITC!

Ok, gotta get back to work. But, its been nice chatting for a change!

Hey! Any of you who watch Biggest Loser, turn on QVC. Jillian is here.

I was just out on set. I didn't get to introduce myself, but she seemed very nice! (intense, but nice!)

Good evening.

Not much going on around here today. Nothing but rain, rain, rain. That put a big damper on our High School's Homecoming festivities. We didn't even go to the football game. We did attend the parade that was held. 9th-12th built floats and the police/fire department had vehicles with flashing lights and sirens going. There was also a float built by the senior parents that had baby pictures of thier kids blown up to poster size on it; too cute! About 1:30pm I went to my Mom's(Sukie) to hang out and visit. We haven't done that since my Beana passed. It was nice just to drink tea and talk. I commented to her that it still doesn't feel like Beana is gone. I can't figure out if it's because I was there when she passed or if it's because she didn't want any fuss made after she was gone. Typically you would have a viewing one night and then the service and buriel the next day with a gathering following that. We just had a gathering at the cemetary where her ashes were buried and then everyone went their seperate ways. It feels incomplete. It feels like the goodbye wasn't big enough or didn't make enough of a ripple in the world for me to move on mentally.

DS11 and I watched the movie "Taken" tonight. It was just OK. It reminded me a little of the "Bourne" movies but no where near as good. It was about an 1hour and 20 minutes long and it felt disjointed. Like stuff didn't go together.

Magikitty: I can't believe you'll be leaving in 2 weeks! :banana:You are one nice lady:hug:. Wanting to help someone get to Sea World is awesome and not something that anyone else would do, not even me. I'm to paranoid.

marie: DH said that if we decide that we need the PH that we will just buy them while we are there. I want them now so I can make plans to meet you dag nabbit! Oh well, maybe we can exchange contact info and while we are there if my schedule changes I can call you to see where you are and then make plans to meet. We'll figure it out as we get closer.

Hello to all my fine Tker friends! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend thus far.

Pikester - I don't think I knew about your Beana, I've been off so long. I'm assuming that's your Mom's Mom? I'm so sorry. And, Sukie, my condolensces to you as well. My Grandmom passed about a month ago. She lived a long filled life, but, it doesn't make it easy. I'm truly sorry to you both for your loss.

:hug:Thank you!

Yes it was my Mom's Mom. She passed on August 6th and it still doesn't feel like she is really gone. I didn't talk to her everyday so she wasn't a part of my everyday life but I know when the holidays come around I am really going to feel the void.

So glad that you found some time to stop by and chat. How are the boys doing? A little unsolicted advice, slow down and enjoy your boys because it is amazing how fast they grow up! I can't believe my DS11 will be 12 next month. Where did the time go?

Good morning ladies! Sorry I've been MIA lately, just gottenr really busy all or a sudden...of course it would be when I should be prepping for my trip next weekend! Haven't had time to go through the pages I've missed, but I'll go back and do that sometime today.

Lighttech! Glad to see you came by....was actually thinking of you the other day and of your family, wondering how things are. With LITC, can you beleive we've welcomed another little TKer into the world?! So wonderful!

Took younger nephew to the orthodontist yesterday. I don't really understand why. They put the bracket things on his teeth, but not the wire coz he has to get four extra teeth removed :scared1:. Didn't they know that when they took his x-rays last time? So now he's scheduled for surgery next month and then they'll finish putting the braces on. Seemed like a waste of time to me. And the secretary is a meanie. Don't like her at all.

Ok, gotta go back and read what my darling friends have been up to on the Dis! Did I tell you I already checked-in online? Really easy and cool! TTYL!

I'm always up for unsolicited advice from my TKers!
And, that one, I'm already familiar with. I can't believe that BL just turned 1! and, DS is 4 1/2 and will be in kindergaarten next fall. I don't know where that time went. But, I know I can't get it back, no matter how much I might like to, so I really do try to enjoy every day. With all the stress at work, and as crazy as life gets, I've tried to use it as a life lesson. I'm far from perfect at it, but I really, REALLY try to let the negative stuff roll off and embrace all the blessings in my life. My 2 wonderful boys are at the tippy top of that list.

I need a serious review on how to get photos up here, but once I figure it out, I'll post a few updated pics.

 to you all!

I'm so jealous! I can't believe your so close to your trip!!!
I've just transferred the kids daycare payments to an auto pay on my Disney Visa in an attempt to rack up those Disney dollars a little faster. I can't wait to get back there and take BL on his first trip. I'm hoping for next year, but it might be 2.

Thanks for the kind words about my little man! :goodvibes
Can't say enough about him. I am just SO in love. I knew things were going to change, but it really isn't something that can be described until it happens.

You are so right! I often tell people that. It truly is impossible to put into words. Your little man is adorable! I love the stroller picture. Just keep touching those tiny toes and smelling that sweet baby smell. Like Pikester said, it goes too fast!

Alright, I'm done talking to myself here. I haven't posted in weeks, and now I've taken up almost a whole page myself! :rotfl2: I guess I was going thru withdrawal. :rotfl:

Hi Lighttech! I can't believe BL is already a year old. :woohoo:
LITC My pictures can't compete against such a cutie! :cutie:

A bit more about my trip....
We boarded around 11:30 am, no problems. We had lunch in the Horizon Court (buffet) which is in front of the ship. Great views.

Here is the covered pool. We never went into any pools or hot tubs the entire trip. :rolleyes1

This is our balcony.

Clouds came in while we were in the Inside Passage.

Unique double rainbow.

Our first full day was a sea day going up the Inside Passage. We spent most of it watching the scenery. We played trivia the first night and during the afternoon on this sea day. We played as teams each time. The night game we tied for first but lost the tie breaker. For the afternoon game we had another New Mexican join us and we won the game. We won luggage tags. I had told my DH we needed new luggage tags before the cruise started. :cool1: Formal Night was also this day. Got to dress up and still look terrible. :guilty:
More tomorrow. :)

 Lighttech!!!!!

DL55, congrats on winning at Trivia! I love doing stuff like that on a cruise.

Hello.

LivingInTheCastle, your baby boy is just so precious. Enjoy every single moment with him.

Pikester, do you find this season of Hell's Kitchen to be as good as other seasons? I just can't seem to get into it for some reason. Do you have any favorites so far. I like Dave and Kevin. And Robert totally annoyed me this season. Glad he is gone.

DL55, you pictures are so beautiful. Can't wait to see more.

JOCAmom--Hello ther and thank you for your kind words. He is absolutely amazing and I just cant believe how lucky I am.
Also I dont think I ever got a chance to "welcome" you to our thread here. I'm sure you already realize what an awesome group of people we have here. We owe it all to Kitty who started it all, before I even joined. I came in at the second installment.

Skimmed a page or 2 anyway...

Lighttech--Thank you thank you! I really cant believe that I am now the new mom around here! Isn't that supposed to be your title? :lmao: I am already "panicked" that it will go so fast. I looked at him one day this week and I told my DH he already looks older! It was a sweet and sad moment.

DL!! Thank you so much, although I am truly enjoying your pics as well. We definetly have no plans for any trips right now, so I feel great about living a little through your pics!

Nope! That title is all yours now Mama! And, frankly you can have it. Don't get me wrong, being a new mom is a magical moment, but those first few weeks are so super exhausting too. I'm not sure I could do it all again. They are sweet and wonderful and oh-so-cuddly weeks, but for me, it was quite the blur. I love the tiny pink toes and crunched up little fists, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE when they get just a bit older. Oh how that first smile will melt your heart!
And, from there on in, it just keeps getting better every day. Smiles, rolling over, laughs, sitting up... they really start to become their own little person and its just amazing. Hang in there LITC. You're in for the ride of your life! :cloud9:

Ok, playing catch up using the two-screen system (genius!)

JOCA....awww...little ones in glasses are so so cute. I like the hot pink pair! Kids got a great sense of style already. I'm impressed!

D&D... :cool1: to your school and education team for banding together for that special needs student! Did you get good airfare prices?

DL55...daffodil is a wonderful color! Take pictures, and now that you know how to post...congrats on the gorgeous uploads! You and DH look happy and I can see why! Beautiful pictures! That covered pool looks great.

LITC....Walter is two weeks old ALREADY??? How did that happen. Congrats, by the way. You have an adorable sweet baby heartbreaker there. Kisses and sniffs from me, ok? Baby smell is intoxicating!

Wendy, you told me a bit about how active your Mom is with the miliary and supporting them and I am so humbled. Your parents are truly amazing. You must be so proud! And :worship: to all those amazing men and women out there serving our country.

M&N....congrats on the continued weight loss..and another size down! Awesome!

I don't watch Survivor, at least not yet. Too many people to keep track of. But the Amazing Race starts next week! Woo-hoo! :cool1:

I think I'm all caught up now! Phew! In honor of Patrick Swayze, I'm watching North and South miniseries tonight.

MK, where are you watching North and South? Is it on TV? DVD? I LOVED that miniseries! That's when I fell in love with Patrick Swayze!

Good evening!

I've got about an hour to hang out and chat so I thought I would stop by to see who was here.

Hi whgrn! What have you been up to today?

Hey Pikester! Oh, I had a really exciting day.

I went to the gym, then went to WalMart for a $20 pedicure. I came home and played with the dog, and had lunch. Read all my email, talked to my sister, ironed 5 blouses, and went to my parents' house for dinner.

I lead such a thrilling life...:lmao:

Hey, you accomplished more then I did all day! I did one load of laundry and cleaned the bathroom. That is it! I should have done more laundry, made the beds, vaccumed, etc. I just didn't feel like it. "Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow."
