I think once you make peace with the fact that you will never win versus laundry, dishes, grocery shopping....life gets so much easier. Why sweat it? It'll always be there and somehow it will get done.

OMG! Is anyone going to watch Glee tonight? I loved the first episode...I watched it twice last week. Its so cute and so darkly funny about high school. And the musical numbers! Awesome!

I need to thank the casino gods again. Was feeling really bad that I had lost $60 when I hit! And hit it good...I won $394! I hightailed it out of there...more money for my trip! I really have to stay away for a while...there's no way I can keep on a winning streak. I'll just go for my free buffet this weekend. Taking the parents.

Hey JO---can I shorten your name like that? I get mixed up very easily! It sounds like you have to do laundry every day! I live alone so I still take my laundry to Mom's since my dad died. It's a lot easier and it does save on water. Are you a stay at home mom? How has the homework been so far?

Mom packed my change up for me---over $200! I felt like I won the lottery! I know it all was really mine but putting that loose change away does help.

Keeping change is really a great tip. I hoard my quarters for the tolls in Florida (no EZ Pass there!) It really adds up! $200 is amazing...think of it as a plane ticket in change!

M&N...I forgot you're not on Facebook. I was so upset this afternoon because I found a white hair amidst my mountain of hair. (seriously, things could be hidden in there for years). So I debate internally whether to pull it out or just let nature take its course.

My sister always says not to pull a white hair, ten more come for its funeral!

Anyway, I can't stand the idea of a visible white hair, so I go for it....and realize that its not mine! Its my fatty kitty's hair!

Sorry about that. Whenever I hear that song all I can think about was when Kenny Rogers was on the Muppet Show and they had him singing the song while he was sitting on a train. There was an old gambler nearby who ended up dying and his spirit was singing the song with him. Weird.

So WHATSSSSSSUPPPPPPPP!! We showed DS11 that commercial last year and he totally cracked up. Have no idea what made me just think of that....

I've been taking the kids outgrown clothes down to the consignment shop to raise my spending money for Disney. I've got $26 so far and I recently dropped off a couple of bags which will hopefully net me a few more bucks.

BKMETV: That puppy is do cute! I'm not much of a dog person but puppies get me every time.

Magikitty: It was a very crispy morning here. I was a good girl and went for my walk. It took me awhile to get warm enough to take my sweatshirt off.

M&N: I hate missing appts. It always makes me feel so stupid when I do that. I've even looked at my calendar, made a mental note that I had an appt and still missed it. ---Not sure if you were asking a question or not but my MIL has to bring my FIL's meds and diabetic supplies with them when they travel and I believe that she has paperwork from his Dr to show to the airline if needed.

I was wondering if I needed a note or something but I figured that could easily be forged too??? My medication is just a pill but I have those little needles to test my blood sugar and since you cannot even take nail clippers, I didn't see how those little needles would pass??? The web site says diabetic supplies were ok.

I just bought a new phone. I have to go online to get the detailed manual. I think that's stupid! give it to me in the box. They had this little booklet in there...actually 2. One in English and one in French. The page the manual is on won't come up on my screen...I'll try tomorrow.

Yes, I am resigned to doing laundry for the rest of my life. I swear by the time I am done folding it, there is a whole new pile ready to washed.

Magikitty, I should own stock in L'Oreal because of my white hair. My mom always told me not to pull them either. The more you pluck them, the more they grow back.

I was told that pulling out the whites made them come back in with a different texture. I have fine hair and the whites were thicker...You do reach a point when you have to stop the pulling out if you want any hair at all!

We always rolled our coins/change and then put it in DD's savings account. The kid can now roll that money into CD's. It's amazing how it adds up.

Thanks for the ADR ideas-I'm writing them all down because I have a feeling that getting ADR's are going to be tough this time of year.

Kitty- I got my Gee Your Hair Smells Terrrific today. It doesn't smell the way I remember but that was so long ago maybe I just am remembering it different. I bet it will be good when I use it. DD loved the retro shirt I got her (I know I couldn't wait to give it to her at Christmas) it looks like this:

Only 4? If that was true, I would have tried it and instead of ending up with the dozen I seem to find each day.

M&N, I think I always dream of Disney. We got to see the Castle lights last year and I had tears in my eyes watching it and my kids watching it. I don't know when we will get back there either and that makes me sad. Our last vacation was to Universal and though it was fun, it wasn't Disney.

Nothing beats Disney at Christmas...the lights are fantastic. Mom doesn't like it because she says Christmas should be cold. she grew up in southern VA and they sure didn't have snow for Christmas there. We also took our Disney cruise in Dec. They even had a snow scene at Castaway Cay with snow!

I've been really fortunate not to have white hair yet. My younger sister has a lot more than I do. Now that we're talking about it, I'm sure I'll get some soon!

I'd never admit this in real life, but I know a lot of Kenny Rogers songs. My parents took me to one of his concerts in third grade! Have any of you seen him lately? He looks like a completely different person now! Too much plastic surgery...
