I got a Photobucket account a long time ago but wasn't confident with myself to use it. That is where I had the kitty picture stored but whenever I tried to load the image here it always came back as being to large a file. I could never figure it out because the image I had was 100 X 100 which is supposedly what will fit on here. For some reason it clicked tonight and I resized the image and it finally went. I'll work on loading pictures onto photobucket and trying to post them on here sometime.

Pikester gone wild! YEAH for getting a new pic in avator. Sometimes I think the computer just doesn't do what we tell it to. We try and try to do something and all of a sudden it works. I have trouble with size too. I cannot get bigger pics to post here. I thought I had a bigger size but it doesn't go that way???

DH and DS looked at the pics with me. DS now wants to go to the park.
DH told me the sweetest thing I almost cried. Especially since money is tight right now. He looked at all of you and saw my expression of how delighted I was that all of you got to meet. He said, "Hey, if they do this again, we need to find the money so you can fly up there and be with them."

So I'm with Racer, we need an annual trip. I'm going to start putting money away.

Don't you just hate it when someone dismisses your help. Well, maybe not dismisses it but sort of listens to it but not really. Someone on the Welcome board asked for help because their ticker is being cut off at the bottom of their siggie even though it shows up when they are previewing it. Well, being the nice person that I am I tried to explain that Yes, it will show up in the preview of your siggie but doesn't mean that it is fitting the space that will allow it to show when you are posting. And, quite possibly they have too many images in their siggie so maybe that is why it is being cut off.

Here was their reply:

"Pikester I tried to cut mine down some, but I really don't have much there!! And not as much as you!!! HA HA!!! Thanks for responding!!!"

OK, they did say thank you but I guess I know what I'm doing better then you since you imply that I have more but mine are atleast showing up not cut off! If you count everything in my siggie including each letter or number I have 20 items and if you count the same things in their siggie they have 22.

LITC--so sorry to hear about the wrist but at least you know what's going on. I must admit, I haven't heard of DeQuervains except for thryoid issues. I guess I better get studying! Hope you figure out the cortisone thing. I would guess that you shouldn't have the shots, since they are steroids and you have a bun in your oven. But perhaps the dose is small and direct and won't go systemic? (let me know please) Feel better!

Pikester, I'll join the bandwagon. It was rude of DH to do that. At the very least, he should have announced his intention to hijack the remote! BF is the exact opposite with remote etiquette....he has no idea where it is. I always tell him its either in the couch or under the couch. And he goes, "how can it get there? I've been sitting here!". And lo and behold, the remote magically picked up itself and walked under the couch. Fascinating.

Oh, I do hope that we can make it an annual TKer meet! You know me, I fully believe with proper planning and saving, anything is possible! It would be so much fun!

I just ordered a lime green sheath dress to hopefully wear on the show. I was told to wear bright colors and to look young. Its also closed neck, so no cleavage for Regis! Disboards shout out!

Wendy, I can't beleive you're leaving so soon! Are you ready? Eat some bananas today to get that potassium up--I'd hate for you to have those terrible cramps again! Its so exciting for you, but I'll miss you terribly...

You just didn't give them the answer they wanted to hear. Anyone should know that if it doesn't all show up, there's too much there! The bottom of yours doesn't either but what does that have to do with theirs? It also has to do with the arrangement and size of things. I've rearranged and it worked but I'm sure not going to offer any help after they were nasty to my friend!

The humidity hit here...the sky is constantly changing between blue sky, white clouds and nasty grey ones. Got some rain too but didn't check how much.

My books finally got here. They were shipped on the 13th from NJ. Now why does it take 10 days to geet here? Is it because Amazon had free shipping? I got Mousejunkies and a NASCAR cookbook called Pit Stop by Jeff Gordon's mom and Dale Jr's grandma.

Hey M&N, you really can't see the bottom of my ticker? Huh. I can see it on my computer. I guess I'll have to go in and try to move things around. Here I am thinking I'm all that and a bag of chips and I've been posting with my ticker cut off at the bottom and looking like a dork.

I bought Mousejunkies over the weekend and I am almost done with it. Had the hardest time trying to find it at Borders. Mom and I went to the Mall and there is a small Borders located in there. We looked all over the travel section and they even looked it up on their computer. Nothing. They suggested I go to the bigger Borders located in a different location, which I did, and they looked in the travel section and checked on their computer. Maybe something. The computer was showing something when they first entered it in but when they entered it in a different way it wasn't showing anything. Now, the clerk was using a computer right near the travel section. While I was looking at something else my Mom had been getting "help" from the clerk, so I would say for about 5 minutes they had been trying to locate this book. Well I go over to join them and the clerk decides to check another spot for the book. While I'm standing there by the computer station which is near the travel section I happen to look down at the second row from the botton of a shelf of books right in front of us and there is 2 copies of Mousejunkies! I guess it had been put in the wrong spot but lucky for me I saw it!

LITC: You are truely one of us...no ordinary problem for you. Come up with something strange. What's wrong with Carpal Tunnel? Everyone can at least pronounce that--not spell it though-- At least you know what is is and the dr can treat it now or later, depending on baby. How is Castlet doing?

I'm not married and no kids but I sure think manners are important in families. Sure, adults have the control of the tv. Always did at my house too BUT...walking in in the middle of a show and switching channels is just plain inconsiderate. DS was basically given permission to watch his show and then has it taken away just because dad walks in? If dad's show was that important then dad should have been in there when it came on and not read first. I think there's a saying something like to have respect, you must show respect.

I aim to develop weird syndromes!! What can I say? Baby seems to be doing great. Been pretty active! I have another check up this Monday-will keep everyone posted.

Remind me to watch HK next week. I have no TV guide to remember it by.

I came upon the Food Channel's Disney Classics cake decorating challenge tonight. I just cannot imagine thinking up stuff like that and making a cake out of it.

If I ever get one converted to digital, I will post a pic of my wedding cake, it was Cinderellas castle.

24 hours from now I will be getting ready to board the plane!!! I can't believe it! My DNeices wanted to know who I am going to talk to for the first week when I am alone. I pointed out that I am a Scot, I am going to Scotland, and Scots will talk to ANYBODY!!!
