Back to the titilating conversation the other night...I just got an invite to a **** Voyage Party...one of the girls I went to High School with is a carrier for the cancer gene and all the women in her family have died young from Breast cancer...she decided since she's 45 she didn't need the "parts" and more so as a precaution, has had a hysterectomy and next week the "ladies" are coming off. Her attitude has been great about the whole thing, but it just seem very weird to be going to a party over this.

Wow...I'm glad she has a good attitude about this. Don't know if I could ever say "I'm 45 so I don't need these any more".

I think I need to learn to type and read faster or I'm gonna get left in the dust.

Hey---Good morning. Just jump in whenever. You can always add whatever whenever. It wasn't our first (or last) discussions on those 2 subjects! I am a slow typer and I have dial-up which makes me really slow but I keep trying. I go to my mom's every weekend so I miss Friday pm to Mon pm. Sometimes, that's a lot of catching up but I enjoy it. Racetrack is still in FL and Whgrn is away so maybe not too chatty this weekend.
Do you have anything special planned?
I hope your DD isn't planning on another chicken supper?

I'll be a wedding on Sat. I'm one of the photographers. I'm sure DH is thrilled to keep an eye on all 5 by himself (and with MIL).
Chicken for dinner........ well, it is her birthday, so I think McDonald's chicken nuggets are appropriate. (As long as I don't have to eat them)

purely hobby. I've taken some good shots of the kids, so MIL recommended to DH's cousin that I take their wedding pics. Personally, I think it was a ploy to keep the kids to herself since she would have to help DH with them while I was taking pics. I can't stay away too long, the baby is still nursing.

Photopass person at DW..... talk about dream job! I told Dh that if we ever move to Fl, I'll get a job. Of course, DS said he's going to live at DW when he grows up and I can live with him, so maybe I won't need a job then. By the way, he'd be a great Imagineer. He already tries coming up with new rides based on different movies.

Night Pepper---Maybe they ignored you because they didn't want to hurt your feelings. I would be jealous of your Sunday but I have met Racer already. Plus I'll get to meet other TKers very soon....You need to work something out to get up here.

LITC: Tkers are much better than google/webmd any time. It would be a shock to hear something like that about your little one. Glad you are feeling better.

You are probably right about not wanting to hurt my feelings. Maybe it would have been worse if they had NOT ignored me. I want to make it to the meet, but it is not looking good.

Pepper, if today is your anniversary (I got lost) Happy Anniversary, today is my 's 2nd birthday. She's pushing the singing chicken around in a shopping cart. Isn't that sweet!

The party sounds.....um, interesting. I see it more as a celebration of her life and health. What a positive thinker she is!

I missed the b00b and diet discussions.

I think I need to learn to type and read faster or I'm gonna get left in the dust.

Hey M&N, I don't think I ever mentioned that a few years back for DH 30th birthday I threw him a nascar themed birthday party and one of my gifts to him was a #8 car signed by Kerry, Jr, Sr, and Tony Eury.
So we are obviously a Earnhardt family!

Oh no D&D I sure hope you all dont end up like me, I thought I was catching a lil cold on Monday, and went yesterday to the dr only to find out I have 101 fever and my sinuses are infected. I feel awful, Hope you all get better real soon.

Oh no!!!! How horrible to get so sick when you're pregnant.
Mine is just a little cold but DH I think might have the full blown sinus thing going on as his entire face and jaw hurt too.

Don't worry...that virus sneaks up on you faster than you think. Friends were talking about how hard turning 50 was to them. The reply was---wait until it's 60!

I am probably in the minority but I would take getting older any day over getting younger. Of course, I am not 50 yet so it may look different then!
Can't say as we have tried the chicken sandwiches at MCDs but we do eat the fish ones. If I stay on a diet long enough even one of their hamburgers is okay on a rare occasion. BUT I am with you SCHBR'smom.... I draw the line at the chicken nuggets!

Good morning everyone! Happy anniversary, happy birthday, feel better soon, survive the hail and do fantastic at the Special Olympics! Did I get everything? Gosh you guys were chatty yesterday and OF COURSE I missed it all!

Yesterday was my younger nephew's birthday--he's now 12y/o. I can't believe my little man is a tween!

Nothing much going on around here this weekend, just ignoring the advancing closet and by doing such, avoiding all laundry activities.

I do like a kiddie meal once in a while. Its a perfect size. I like to get the chocolate milk.

This is funny....I got a text from Shmu telling me to ignore any previous texts. Seems she was trying to text her daughter and got me instead! But it was nice to hear from her...
