We were sure busy last night.

I sure slept good once I went to bed.

Didn't wake up until 8!

No sun.

I'm in a holding pattern today...my sister fell off a horse yesterday, on her backend...and as the day progressed started losing strength on her left side...she now in the hospital waiting for an MRI this morning...she had 2 CAT scans which didn't show anything, they think that it might just be some swelling that is interfering with her nerves. I told her she should have had a bigger butt like me, she doesn't have enough padding!

D&D, bless your heart, I am ok. The barfing thing is really common for me. My little tummy just doesnt like alot of things I try to put in it, so it "gives them back". I am quite used to it, and it seems to go in spurts (pardon the pun...) where it happens alot, then for months there is nothing.

I am getting really excited about Hershey! I havent been to Hershey Park since before I got married (1995), so I imagine it has changed just a wee bit since then! PLUS I will be seeing it with my TKer friends, which will make it all the more special!!! I wish ALL the TKers could be there for real, but we will have to make do with the flat TKers for those who cant make it in person. Make sure y'all get your pictures to D&D in time!!

So, there I was this morning, sound asleep at about 8:35, after being rudely awakened by battling children an hour earlier, and the phone rings. "Hello, Mrs. G, this is Mr. Smith from the Middle School". to which I gave my standard response of, "Oh dear God, what did he do now?!" It seems my little darling lost his DS game on the bus this morning, and, having been already been put in a lousy mood by DD, who used the last of the milk for breakfast, turned around and screamed to the entire bus, something to the effect of, "you all can just suck my ****)

Needless to say, he is off the bus for the rest of the year. Thank God it is only 4 more days. I said I would have to figure out someone to get him today as I have to take DD to the neurologist and we wont be back til 4. Mr. Smith, God love him, suggested I take Danny with us! Sure he will miss a couple of classes, but they arent really doing anything anyway. And he will have to deal with 1 hour each way in the car, plus about 1 or 2 hours at the doctor, with NO entertainment!!! No electronics for him until school ends Tuesday. Not to mention a VERY grouchy mama who has to get up at 7:30 every day to drive his sorry little tuchus to school!

Ay yi yi, this boy is gonna drive me to drink serious adult beverages...

MagiKitty--Sorry about the squinting. Can't show it all to you or you wouldn't want to come. Better think of the water park part for him too. Although a friend said her granddaughter didn't do it because of the lines. The coasters are extreme I think. Great job on your budget...crunch those numbers! You should be a travel agent for Disney with those skills. Then you could give us all the special deals.


D&DDisney: If your DH has the same sense of humor you do there's going to be a lot of smacking going on in Hershey. But from the sounds of it, you may have to watch out for Racers youngest DD. She takes after her mom about #18 and isn't afraid to say it. I just love it when you try and 'help' Racetrack find a better driver!

EV: Another 88 heard from! Yeah! Praying for your sis...

I hope I didn't forget anything...It's crazy weather. I had my sweater on today to go out for dinner! It's raining again too. At least the grass is green. I'll have to look for mushrooms tomorrow...

D&D, I think this camping trip is going to be very interesting. I'm gong to have get my butt in gear and start working on some t-shirt designs. And I promise, no KB references on them. Well, unless you sign me up for that Jr fanclub. Then I'll make you an extra special tshirt for the meet.

whgrn, is your DS channeling mine? Is it a full moon out there? Mine is acting up like crazy now that we are home. It's like a re-occuring nightmare right now.

I took typing class in high school. The teacher was the meanest teacher in the entire school. But darn if I didn't learn to type.

M&N, you only spent one day with DD. And that was at the Hershey where she was a little giddy off the chocolate scent in the air.

These are cabanas that you can rent for 175 a day! They are 225 on Sat and Sun. I could not believe the cost...just to get in the shade. I don't know if there are any other perks with it. I did see a machine with bottles in them but could not see if you had to pay extra for it.

D&D, trust me, after gastric bypass, barfing is NOT uncommon. Not necessarily a good thing, just not all that unusual. Sort of the body's way of keeping me in line with food!

To all who commented on my DS--dont worry if you laughed a little. He cracks me up all the time. In pre-K his teacher said she loved having him in class, becuase "he makes me laugh every day". This despite the fact that he practically lived in the principal's office! (yes, in pre-K...) Racetrack I think it must be close to a full moon--the craziness is in full swing! He came home tonite from visiting his father and tried to moon me! Couldnt get the pants down, thank goodness. Ay yi yi...

Tonite I went to WalMart, the evil empire, and got almost all the rest of the stuff the kids need for camp. Still have to find hiking boots, and DS needs 2 white Tshirts for arts and crafts. I forget who asked, but he leaves for camp July 12. Just 24 days to go!!

Racer-I know she was also a little tired after your DH had her running through the water all afternoon!

I wasn't allowed to take typing in hs...I was in college prep and we had certain classes to fit in. I always thought that was strange considering how many reports we had to write and then type. Of course the manual typewriters were not as easy to use as the keyboards are now.

Plus the chocolate wasn't melting---it was only 70! I had my pic taken with a giant Hershey bar too but I won't post it since my friend is in it too.
