Man, the kiddies are gonna go nuts about the water park. They loved it last time and it wasn't even as big.

Do they have the whole list of who is performing this summer? I know you most likely have posted it but I'm way too lazy to go back and look.

It's on their site but I can email you my list if you want it. Chubby Checker is there in July.
That water park is great. But I'm afraid it will be crowded. It was busy on Sunday but not today of course. There was a line for the lazy rivver. The wave pool looked nice too. I don't remember as many beach chairs around the old part either.
Definitely do the coasters first. The lines were not as long then.

From what I judged, only 3 of the coasters have to be done right away....Fahrenheit, Great Bear, and Storm Runner. I have such a hard time imagining crowds at Hershey as compared to Disney.

But honestly, I don't go to Hershey for the thrill rides even if they are great. I love just taking the kids on the "tame" things. I love riding with them while they drive the classic or sports cars. Going up in the Kissing Tower. Taking the monorail around the park.

I'll just check out the site and see what it coming up. I think every year, they have some up and coming Disney star. I might have to take a trip out there just for that and DD.

I just realized I need to get clean sheets on my bed. I yanked the old ones off this am before I left and didn't get the clean ones out! I did get the clean towels out though...night.

I know of the Naked Brother's Band. It just seemed to always be such an odd name for a tween type band. I'm not sure that DD13 likes them.

Just got a call with a job offer for fall!!!

I finalize the deal on Thurs. and will get more details. I will be a Learning Resource Consultant 2 days per week...aka working with children w/ learning and behavior disabilities. Just had to share.

Congrats...my kinda job, 2 days a week.

How about Hard Lemonade? Right now I'm drinking a Hard Mango Punch. Mmmm!

LITC, racetrack, & Shmu it is my understanding that D&D will bring the flat TKers to Hershey and give them to me so I can take us to Scotland. So Shmu you should send flat Shmu to D&D asap. I am thinking I will get pix of us with a guy in a kilt playing bagpipes, maybe a castle or 2, hey, maybe even eating haggis!!

I'm in a holding pattern today...my sister fell off a horse yesterday, on her backend...and as the day progressed started losing strength on her left side...she now in the hospital waiting for an MRI this morning...she had 2 CAT scans which didn't show anything, they think that it might just be some swelling that is interfering with her nerves. I told her she should have had a bigger butt like me, she doesn't have enough padding!

D&D, bless your heart, I am ok. The barfing thing is really common for me. My little tummy just doesnt like alot of things I try to put in it, so it "gives them back". I am quite used to it, and it seems to go in spurts (pardon the pun...) where it happens alot, then for months there is nothing.

I am getting really excited about Hershey! I havent been to Hershey Park since before I got married (1995), so I imagine it has changed just a wee bit since then! PLUS I will be seeing it with my TKer friends, which will make it all the more special!!! I wish ALL the TKers could be there for real, but we will have to make do with the flat TKers for those who cant make it in person. Make sure y'all get your pictures to D&D in time!!

So, there I was this morning, sound asleep at about 8:35, after being rudely awakened by battling children an hour earlier, and the phone rings. "Hello, Mrs. G, this is Mr. Smith from the Middle School". to which I gave my standard response of, "Oh dear God, what did he do now?!" It seems my little darling lost his DS game on the bus this morning, and, having been already been put in a lousy mood by DD, who used the last of the milk for breakfast, turned around and screamed to the entire bus, something to the effect of, "you all can just suck my ****)

Needless to say, he is off the bus for the rest of the year. Thank God it is only 4 more days. I said I would have to figure out someone to get him today as I have to take DD to the neurologist and we wont be back til 4. Mr. Smith, God love him, suggested I take Danny with us! Sure he will miss a couple of classes, but they arent really doing anything anyway. And he will have to deal with 1 hour each way in the car, plus about 1 or 2 hours at the doctor, with NO entertainment!!! No electronics for him until school ends Tuesday. Not to mention a VERY grouchy mama who has to get up at 7:30 every day to drive his sorry little tuchus to school!

Ay yi yi, this boy is gonna drive me to drink serious adult beverages...

Ay yi yi, this boy is gonna drive me to drink serious adult beverages...

Is it wrong that I laughed a little at this? Kids........ they're so cute and sweet at first, you get all attached to them, then their true personalities come out, and you're stuck with them!

Have fun at Hershey! I hope we can go someday. The kids saw it on the travel channel and thought it was close to heaven........ fun things to do and lots of chocolate!

Wendy, oh goodness. It is kinda funny,but be glad its at the end of the year. Imagine driving him to school everyday for months! Sorry about losing the game thing too....

I am so, so excited for the Hersheypark trip! I texted my younger nephew just to confirm he's going with me and he said Yes! Yes! He's been doing research online. Apparently there are LOTS of roller coasters for him to ride. And those pics M&N! Even squinting to see them, they look great!

Ok, I just got off the phone with the travel agent. We were supposed to spend a few days offsite then checkin for a week at Pop. We've been researching back and forth offsite hotels and when we really crunched the numbers, it didn't come out cheaper than staying at a value with free food. And it solved out issues with an expensive rental car for 10 days. So now what? we're staying onsite the entire time! We'll only go to the parks for 7 days, and go to Sea World and other places, but we'll use the extra food for either breakfasts or late dinners. We'll still rent a car, but for the better one week rates, coz our flight out is at 7am!

Really, its not a scam to spend more time at Disney, but I think its better! We got three extra nights plus food for less than $300 more!

Unfortunately, this may knock out Blue Man Group or MNSSHP. But I only have to unpack once.

Oh, and remember my friend whose baby was going to have some issues? Welcome Cole Abraham! He's doing ok for now and we'll just wait and see what needs to be done.

Haven't seen it. We most likely won't get to see it till it's on DVD. But just what I need, a movie to cry in. I'll have to watch it by myself.

We are actually waiting for the new Transformers to come out. Have to see the hometown on the big screen.

If you see a border crossing in the movie, that was filmed on our AF base. DH has a picture of him standing at the cross guard and guard shack.

Okay...Just to clearify, I've never put down the person in the Crocs, just the Crocs themself. Although I really shouldn't. They can't help being ugly.

I've got 'em now. My son has been playing with all of you like a small puppet show. He loves them.
Hopefully I remember to bring them to Hershey. Gotta remind me to pack them. I'll be taking them to the beach on Monday when swim lessons start and probably to the big fireworks show on July 3rd. I'll put you in a Corona bottle.

Sister finally has a time for her MRI...4:30 a.m. so we should know more tomorrow. Apparently they've taken her off the backboard, but she still is wearing a neck brace. I'm off to my last Home & School meeting for the year, and maybe heading down to London to visit her tomorrow (it's about 2 hours away) I'll let you know how everything goes...thanks for your prayers.

I guess I never told Racer that when we were at Test Track in Epcot DS bought a ballcap...it's green & white with a #88 on it!!
