You said it M&N. {raises my drink in honor of MK}

Your grand prize from me is my solemn promise not to mess with you during our ghost tour. :goodvibes

Hey, JOCA, I'll take that!

I tried to be brave and watch Ghost Hunters in prep for the Ghost Tour. I got about three minutes in before I switched the channel!

MK, you'll have all us there to protect you. Besides, I've got enough of a rep that the ghosts wouldn't even bother. :rotfl2:

It sure does. Now I'm not saying if it's a good rep or a bad one but it's there. :rotfl2:

We know what it is....don't worry. Maybe Kitty should go with vampire red hair to protect herself! :rotfl:

WOW...9 am and no post. Pikester must be sick too!

Sun is out here. Mom called and said she heard a pop and then no electricity...out for maybe 10 min. doesn't know why.

I was up until 2 this am. I was chatting with my cousin. I think I heard an owl outside my window...got the flashlight and looked out in the tree but did not see anything. I cannot see much of the tree though.

I'm around M&N.

Tyler is still sleeping. I hope he's feeling better when he gets up.

Had to drive back to DS8's school because I forgot to put his homework folder in his backpack. Thankfully the school is only about 5 minutes away.

I so can't wait to go the ghost tour! :scared1:

Morning! I've been entering sweepstakes this morning. I'm determined to win something. I feel so left out.

If my hair would take Vampire Red and if I didn't have to look somewhat professional at times, I'd do it!

Today is the last day of Shamrock Shakes....oh, and HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY everyone!

Its sunny out here too. I need my lawn to dry up. My dog keeps tracking mud all over the place and its driving me crazy.

My sprouts are doing great! Now I just don't know what to do with them....

I think JO's dd would tell your ds to not be so lazy and check his own backpack! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Ok, since its St. Pat's today. What's the deal with Irish soda bread? Is it just bread? Is it dessert-like? What do I do with it?

Hope Tyler is feeling better. Its good that he's sleeping. His body is fighting off all those bad germies!

M&N...can your Mom call someone to check out the pop? Stuff like that always makes me nervous...

I think JO's dd would tell your ds to not be so lazy and check his own backpack! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Gee, M&N, when you say it like that, it just sounds so mean. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

It's so beautiful here today. I think DD and I will go out later and clean up the yard. The girls decided to play with rocks yesterday and now they are everywhere.

Pikester, I hope DS is feeling better today. It stinks so bad to be sick just as the weather is turning nice. Sending pixie dust his way.

A local grocery store puts green dye in bread/cookies/cake but to me it makes things look moldy! are you supposed to dip your Irish bread into green beer today? :rotfl:

I think JO's dd would tell your ds to not be so lazy and check his own backpack! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I actually thought the same thing! As I was leaving the school I saw his teacher and told her that I had dropped off the folder. She told me that he was upset and had the teary eyed thing going on because "Mom forgot to put it in my bag". The earn a sticker for bringing in their homework and when the column is filled they earn 2 homework passes. She said she usually gives a break to those that always bring in their homework and she was able to calm him down. Poor kids have inherited my sensitive side.

Aww...poor DS! I would have been upset too. Hope he's better now.

It is gorgeous outside, just not warm enough yet. I need to wash the undercarriage of the car and get all that gunk out.

I was a perfectionist for school and would have had the same reaction! I guess I felt the teachers expected me to do everything right? That changed in middle school. My parents were happy with whatever grade I got...as long as it was the best I could do.

I'm not sure if JO posted the Dora story here Kitty. Her youngest dd was watching Dora and all of a sudden said to the tv---Go check your own backpack and stop being so lazy. Can't you just see that little one saying that? So cute!

My youngest 2 are the same way about school work. And school in general. DD8 thinks everything she does has to be perfect and gets upset if she gets even one wrong on a test. We've been having long talks with her about that.
