That was so exciting! And that newbie got bronze. It was nice to see Apolo appreciating his silver after everything he's already accomplished. He was really enjoying it.

Just watching the little about him on the pre-race coverage, he seems like a nice guy. I couldn't get over how calm he looked before the race.

OK, I missed the coverage of the moguls earlier but I'm watching it now. All I can say is ouch.

Those moguls wear out your entire leg. I tried some small ones when I used to ski. Decided it was too much work. The final of the speed skating is my kind of finish. The Koreans wiped themselves out.
The ghost tour sounds fun..I'm not scared. But I'm usually in bed by 9:30.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE

Cute Valentine story for everyone.
Oh Puppy Love is so sweet.

My DD got a homemade valentine from a 17 year old boy that goes to our church. He is a really sweet boy. He poured out his emotions of how my DD is the coolest girl he has ever met.

DD said he was shaking when he gave it to her. (awww)

Problem is, my DD does not feel the same way and is going to have to share this with him. She is heart broken though because she does not want to make him feel bad because he is such a nice young man. She is going to write out what to say and let her dad look it over. I thought that was very thoughtful of her.


Hope everyone is doing great. I miss spending time on here.

Happy Valentine's Day! Happy New Year!

I went to pick up lunch at the Chinese take-out. On my way out, I wished them Happy New Year...then the girl asked me, "are you Asian?". Dissed by my own people! I'm 25% Chinese! (and about 60% Filipino). The remainder is Swiss. Most people think I'm Mexican. I think its because I'm big for an Asian. No delicate Asian flower here.

DL55...your 9:30pm is our 12:30am, right? You should be fine for the ghost tour!

Ok, so what time is the race? Figure skating starts tonight....I was totally jumping around and yelling at the end of the speed skate final. Not my finest moment.

Ah, Wendy, you're the most disciplined healthy eater I know. A few chips is ok.

Ok, so I've been playing on Fb for a couple hours now. Still not too great a fan. But pouting now! I keep noticing that everyone has received Valentine's gifts except for me! If I knew how to do it, I would! No one loves me!
