JOCAmom Enjoyed the snow pictures. Glad to be here (no snow). Good thing you had a leash on your dog...may have lost him in the snow.
Have no idea what events are being shown or when. We'll just go with the flow. DH hate figure skating, says it's all fixed anyway. We like watching anything with a chance of a crash. I like downhill. I remember doing a "race" after a week of lessons. I felt like I was going sooo fast. Then we watched the video..we were going sooo slow.
DH is happy..gets to play golf. Looks like no precipitation for the next week.

DH usually has no interest in the Olympics but he said last night that he wants to be home tonight to watch the opening ceremonies. I looked at the schedule you posted, MK, and there is at something on that I want to watch every day. I do love speed skating. A bunch of racers going around in circles, you know.

WINTER POEM

It's winter in Pennsylvania

And the gentle breezes blow

Seventy miles an hour

At five below.

Oh, how I love Pennsylvania

When the snow's up to your butt

You take a breath of winter

And your nose gets frozen shut.

The weather here is wonderful

So I guess I'll hang around

I could never leave Pennsylvania

Kids were watching Sesame Street today and they had Jeff Gordon in a skit about racing. It was the Squirmadega Race. If you're familiar w/ the show they had Slimey worm driving the #5 Worm Depot car.

Since when did 1-3 in become a little? Especially on top of what we have now. The news had several stories of people who just got plowed out on their road. One family had 6 kids! Who's complaining now!

I made a mistake about the truck race, he was watching last years but didn't know it. I guess it's raining in Daytona.
